Does this tour stop at the Swiss alps?

This tour includes overnights near Lucerne and Lausanne Switzerland. It also has a stop in Interlaken. You will be surrounded by the Swiss Alps. You will not be visiting any towns in the Alps but Lucerne is situated where the Alps begin. There are hills in the north and mountains in the south. The town lies along the banks of Lake Lucerne.

We are a family of 7 and interested in this tour. Would we be able to get one triple Room and Two Rooms with Double Bed or twins per Hotel?

This is something we can definitely request, but unfortunately in Europe the setup of hotels is not like it is in other parts of the world and can never be guaranteed (i.e sometimes don't have triple share rooms available)

Is there an extra charge if its just one single booking? I see the prices are based on double occupancy.

Prices are based on a twin-share. If you are happy to go with a twin-share the tour operator will place you with another solo traveller of the same sex. If you would like your own room, you can opt for the single supplement, with an additional cost. The single supplement is not compulsory for this tour. I loved our trip, but I think a few things could use a little help. I would like to see a little more detail on the amount of free time we have in each country. Our group of 6 took in every spare minute of time off to explore around us. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we would check in and take off again. We would like to have known ahead of time estimates of when we would arrive back at the hotel to plan our time off. Also, being our first trip abroad, it would have been nice if you would give us information about buying tickets for different excursions, outside of Cosmos. We had no way of knowing that you would have to buy these way in advance, in order to be able to get in. For example, we were not able to get tickets to the top of the Eiffel Tower. because we waited too late to buy them. Although our tour director offered to help us try to secure ticket, we decided not to pursue. Also, the Anne Frank House, luckily, we came across the website that said you had to buy ahead of time, so we did that. This is something I think would benefit people, if they decided to venture out on their own on their free time.Show more

Our trip was such a great experience and a trip of a lifetime. Our tour guide, George helped to make our vacation very memorable. He was so helpful and caring making all of us feel like we were part of his family. I would highly recommend your company and have referred several people to do your tours. One is already booked for October and another is planning one for the future. Our driver, Elia also made our trip memorable and safe. He's an excellent driver and maneuvered the roads with ease. I can't say enough about the two and the local tour guides. I added pictures to my journal if you'd like to share them with others. Maybe Ireland or Egypt next.Show more
