  It was an awesome 4 day winter trek in the Atlas mountains. Thank you to Mohamed our guide and Hussein our cook, we couldn't have had a friendlier and better team. The food was amazing and the Berber whisky at the cold and windy summits kept us warm. Can't recommend this tour enough. Mohamed made our trek as relaxing as climbing 4000m mountains can be! At the first day, we started our tour with an acclimatization hike to the Aourirt n'Quassif 2726m as an round trip and stayed the first night in Imlil. The group size was in our case 3 people + guide and cook. Next day we hiked up togehter approx. 1500m to our base camp (Refuge Toubkal Les Mouflons) for the next 2 nights. The summit push (approx. 1000m) for the Jbel Toubkal (4167m) started at 7 o'clock after the breakfast. It takes about 5 hours to get to the summit and back. The path is very easy however some people will feel the altitude. Our guide adjusted the pace perfectly. After arriving back to the hut we had lunch and were able to relax all afternoon. The last hike started early in the morning at 5 o'clock. We went up to the two peaks of Jbel Ouanoukrim (4089m) and then the whole way down to Imlil (1000m up and 2500m down). At a few meters on the way to the summit and down you have to use your hands. It's a very easy scramble on relatively solid rock. It was a well organizer trekking tour. If you plan the tour in December, take warm clothes with you. It is winter in Morocco and it can be freezing cold at the summits. Thanks a lot for this wonderful 4 days.Show more

  The Toubkal winter ascension tour has been a great experience. The tour was operated regardless the fact that I was alone, and my 4-day tour was merged with the 3-day one of 2 other trekkers. Omar has been a great guide during the 4 days of trekking. The only improvable thing is the communication with the agency before the tour. It would be costless to get in contact with people to give tips and information on how what to bring and the details of the plan.Show more

  We were glad to have a wonderful 4-day Winter Toubkal trek in Morocco. The trip took us through Imlil, to the Azzaden Valley and the Tamsoult Refuge. View Morocco’s organization was one of a kind, picking us from our hotel in Marrakech city in time. While at this popular destination, we participated in hiking and other amazing experiences. Not forgetting the stunning views from the highest peak of the Atlas Mountains. The 4-day trek brought us further away from Marrakech as we enjoyed wonderful scenery and stunning landscapes. This was a wonderful treat from View Morocco!Show more

  I enjoyed the trip from start to finish, even when it hurt. The accommodation was excellent comfy room and bed. The food and service was outstanding. In a beautifully location. The trek it's self was hard but the most exceptional guide Semir made sure I made it to the summit and back. Without he's help I doubt that I would have ached this goal alone can not praise him enough. Every worked to give me the best trip possible. I will recommend the trip to every one I meet.   Brilliant 4 day winter trek of Toubkal and exploring Imlil and the surrounding area. Omar was an awesome guide who made us feel very safe. The summit in winter is tough (make sure you bring some of your own snacks as the breakfast on summit day in the refuge is a little lacking). Accommodation on the last day at Riad Oussagou in Imlil was amazing - the Mountain Refuge is very basic but mostly functional - not hot water and cold in the rooms but it is half way up a mountain after all. Beautiful scenery and so many friendly and interesting locals. Amazing way to spend Christmas!Show more

  An enjoyable four day adventure treking to and around Mt Toubkal. Communication was lacking at times, although we stayed flexible and everything worked out fine. The pick up was on time and very comfortable, with a lovely breakfast provided before our walk start at Imlil and amazing lunch on return four days later. All guides were very friendly and experienced in the local area and terrain. English was not widely spoken and therefore don't expect a detailed cultural commentary but we always felt safe and with a little french we got by. Food to and from the refuge was good however breakfast and lunch at the refuge was basic and a bit small for the significant energy needed for the trek - extra chocolate bars definitely required! The refugee was warm with large fires and the communal dorms were very comfortable. Be aware the toilets and showers were very basic, no toilet paper or hot water. Pay attention to the kit list, prepare for basic accommodation and you'll have an amazing experience. Thank you to Ibrahim our guide, we couldn't have had a friendlier or more genuine man. Clearly fondly known to all in the Toubkal area and made our trek authentic, safe and as relaxing as climbing a 4000m mountain can be!Show more
