I have a few questions regards the difficulty level of the hiking involved? The equipment I would need to bring? and travelling as a solo traveler - I assume that's ok? I haven't done a tracking holiday before, I like hiking and assume I'd be fit enough but definitely need to check that first :)

This trek is indeed suitable for beginners who are reasonably fit and have a love for hiking. Annapurna Base Camp Trek is considered one of the more accessible trekking routes in the Himalayas, and it offers a fantastic experience for those new to trekking. However, it's essential to prepare physically and mentally for the journey, as the terrain can be challenging at times. In terms of equipment, you will need hiking boots, suitable clothing for both cold and warm weather, a good quality backpack, and personal items like toiletries and medications. It's also essential to have a warm sleeping bag. If you don't already have trekking gear, you can often rent or purchase it in Kathmandu. Travelling as a solo traveler with our experienced guide is absolutely okay! You'll also have the opportunity to meet fellow trekkers along the way.

Since I am by myself, I would like to join a group. Are there any confirmed groups that I could join between Apr 30-May 7?

We do have scheduled group departures every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. At the time being, we don't have a confirmed group; but we will get new bookings for the scheduled dates. In case not, we will arrange the tour for a solo traveller.

Our tour guide, Badri Nepal, was excellent, very well knowledgeable and was able to explain the history and the background of every place.
