Yes, whilst in Victoria falls, Zimbabwe you will have a free day to explore and enjoy some of the many activities on offer. you would have time to cross into Zambia if you wished.

Is it participation camping style? Are there some jobs and duties required (such as set up tent, help cooking and wash dishes etc.)? Could you give us some more details on these?

An essential part of your safari is participation. From putting up your tent to packing the truck in the morning - it's all part of your adventure. Your tour leaders will do all the meal preparation but we do ask the clients to help (on rotation) with the washing up. There are some long travel days which means early morning starts so we all need to get involved to make the day run efficiently.

Our tour with Sunway Safaris exceeded our expectations in every aspect. An active Australian couple in our 70's we enjoyed the African "outback" experience, the varied scenery, open spaces and wonderful wildlife. We felt safe through-out the trip. The principal guides, Moses and Prince, were excellent, and lots of fun; the specially designed buses comfortable, even on rougher roads, with great viewing through large clean windows. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, including the tented camp accessible only by Mokoro. The itinerary of 14 nights taking us from Jo'burg to Maun, Okavango Delta, Moremi, Chobe, Victoria Falls gave us mostly 2 and 3 night stays and we did not feel rushed or tired though we are used to getting up at sunrise. A special thanks to our wonderful expert wildlife safari drivers and guides, especially Solomon at Moremi and Phillip and his team of Mokoro paddlers.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Sunway Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 50 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
