Really enjoyed this trip. Was worried that trekking in temperatures of 38 degrees would be really tough (especially as I'm from Ireland), but it was great, even a nice breeze. Accommodation (Hotel & village houses) were all great and the food was fantastic from start to end - loved this trip.

The trip was amazing!! It was hard work but totally worth it, the views on the hike were stunning and it's an experience I will never forget! The home stays made you feel so welcome and our local guides made the evenings fun with games and activities! Our CEO Bank was amazing, he was more than willing to help organise day trips and meals and he always looked out for our tour family. Bank helped everyone feel welcome and made the group feel like a real family and I miss having them about to make me smile everyday, thank you Bank and G adventures!

Wow!!! What an amazing experience our tour guide, Ball and the villagers gave us. Given it was rain season, Ball was able to work with the villagers to identify safe hiking alternative routes, while maintaining the Hilltribe Experience. After learning about the tour from our tourguide and its affiliation to Community Based, I found comfort in knowing we were personally welcomed by the villagers and the villagers didn't feel exploited and enjoyed sharing their culture with us. I think Gadventures should mention the Community Based Involvment, as it an important and meaningful part of the tour. Not only that, but with the community involved and considered, it gives me further respect for your tour company. This tour requires an open minded trekker to all things related to culture (food, living condition, etc) and I think should be emphasized on the itinerary to show respect and gratitude towards the villagers. The trek and the overall experience was amazing and would highly recommend this tour and especially the tour guide, Ball. He has so much passion for his calling and shows so much respect to the villagers. He patiently answered and interpreted all our questions, and encourage us and the villagers to interact with another. Ball is a standard in which all of your tour guides should work towards. My recommendation is for Gadventures to provide durable hiking shoes for the tour guides, free of charge. The tour guides safety should also be considered by Gadventures. Also, Gadventures should provide a hotel for the tour guides, free of charge. Our tour guide never said anything about his own lodging, but we noticed our tourguide rode 3-4hrs back with us to our hotel on our last day then took another 3-4hrs back to his village because there was not a hotel room booked for him. I was very disappointed Gadventures did not provide a hotel and trekking shoes for him. Most of the tour guides live in a village and 3-4 hours from the City of Chaing Mai and cannot easily access and buy trekking shoes and I feel it is Gadventures responsibility to provide these items and hotel accommodation.
