I am a very fit 73 year old and wondered if I can go on this trip? The activity level does not look very daunting as I workout 4-5 days a week (in Colorado) in a variety of cardio-, strength and physical activities. Please let me know as I am quite interested in this trip.

The first part of the tour was good the pyramids and 4 days on the Nile ..but it went drastically downward once we left the boat we were forced into tipping a Nobelle driver 800 egp by our guide for a trip that would only have cost 1400 in an Uber..we were then dumped at at hotel in Hurgarda with no info with regard what to expect food and drink wise...we tried to get a drink and was made to feel like second class citizens as we had been given the wrong color wrist bands..that aside everywhere we turn the appeared to be someone stood there with their hand out..we was supposed to be collected from Hurgarda after Breakfast the following morning and taken for an early flight back to spend the day round the delights of Cairo instead we were told our flight would be 11.30pm and we would have to spend the rest of the day in hurgarda in the middle of nowhere..until someone collects us at 8.30pm...what about the bazaars in Cairo we were supposed to visit ..the guide just shrugged his shoulders..when we eventually got to our hotel in Cairo at 1.30am in the morning totally exhausted..we were up at 9am the following morn for our trip to airport to go home our Son and fiance had booked a tour so they only had 3 hrs sleep when challenged the rep about it he said we shouldn't have booked anything without going through him...Waste of Time..his attitude was quite aggressive..he never said a word to us the whole journey to the airport and fell asleep and started snoring...he didn't even speak and wish us anything when he dumped us at the airport..a very disappointing end to out tour of Eygpt...Show more

From the welcome get together our CEO made it his mission to make our experience as special as possible and for me he succeeded. Mayer made sure that we were first at most of the historical sites to avoid the crowds when ever possible. Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 27th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 27th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
