On day 7 of the tour we plan on taking the Rocky Mountaineer out of Banff instead of going back to Calgary with the tour. I am assuming there will be no problem with that, correct? If we arrive a day or two early in Calgary can you tell me what hotel we should reserve a room in so that we do not have to change hotels for Day 1 of the tour?

Yes, this would be the only tour with a maximum of 8 days that will cover that region of Canada. No, there will not be any transportation by train, only motorcoach and a brief cruise portion.

The maximum age of 80 is only a suggestions. We only require that you are able to walk up a flight of stairs, be able to get on and off the motor coach without assistance or keep up with the group.

Can you waive the single supplement fee on any date July or August?

This tour does not offer a waived Single Supplement for any departure dates. We do have other promotions that we can apply if booked within the booking window.

We finalize tour arrangements approximately 30 days prior to departure and the hotel list is confirmed at that time. The hotels listed below are those hotels we intend to use. Here is the anticipated list for tour Great Resorts of the Canadian Rockies: Calgary - Westin Calgary, Lake Louise - Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Jasper National Park - Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Banff National Park - Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.

I need to confirm there are two slots available for this tour before I book air fare and also confirm if I can't get the air fare I can cancel the booking within 12-24 hours

With this departure only 22 days away, the tour is on request only. It will take a few days to a week to get confirmation for space. Once I book the tour Tourradar charges your credit card and cancelling close to departure incurs penalties.

I would like to know more details about the sightseeing, as the schedule doesn't list out the sights. I just want more clarification.

  All transportation between cities is operated by motorcoach. The prices you see online do not include taxes, but they will be part of the package when you book. Gratuities are not included. We don't enforce an upper age limit on our tours. Our sight-seeing excursions last roughly 2 hours on average. We usually don't spend all of that time on our feet, and we make frequent stops. Our guests can also opt out of some sightseeing if it becomes to strenuous. We are not currently offering any promotions for this particular tour.
