Is this the only tour that covers this part of Canada. Really like the lakes, Banff, but not as much time devoted to the glaciers. Is there any transportation by train?

Yes, this would be the only tour with a maximum of 8 days that will cover that region of Canada. No, there will not be any transportation by train, only motorcoach and a brief cruise portion.

Is anyone over 80 not allowed to take this tour? How flexible is this restriction?

The 80 year rule is just a broad recommendation. We do not enforce it at all.

Can you confirm the modes of transport for the total tour. ie: Bus/coach and or Train and for which 'section' of the tour. The brochure identifies under heading Transport train only.

It will be coach and 2 days on the Rocky Mountaineer train.

What part of the trip is by rail and what part bus? Transfer of baggage included?

The maximum age of 80 is only a suggestions. We only require that you are able to walk up a flight of stairs, be able to get on and off the motor coach without assistance or keep up with the group.

Can you waive the single supplement fee on any date July or August?

This tour does not offer a waived Single Supplement for any departure dates. We do have other promotions that we can apply if booked within the booking window.

We finalize tour arrangements approximately 30 days prior to departure and the hotel list is confirmed at that time. The hotels listed below are those hotels we intend to use. I need to confirm there are two slots available for this tour before I book air fare and also confirm if I can't get the air fare I can cancel the booking within 12-24 hours

  All transportation between cities is operated by motorcoach. The prices you see online do not include taxes, but they will be part of the package when you book. Gratuities are not included. We don't enforce an upper age limit on our tours. Our sight-seeing excursions last roughly 2 hours on average. We usually don't spend all of that time on our feet, and we make frequent stops. Our guests can also opt out of some sightseeing if it becomes to strenuous. We are not currently offering any promotions for this particular tour.
