Can we bring our seven-month-old infant on the tour?

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten July 2026

Our coach tours have a minimum age requirement of 10 years old. In some cases, we may consider children from 8 years old by exception, depending on the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate infants on our tours. This is because our itineraries include long travel days and a considerable amount of walking, with some sightseeing and guided visits lasting up to three hours.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten July 2026

Based on your preferred destinations, the Europe Taster tour may be a suitable option, as it includes visits to France, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

      Tour Name: Europe Taster

      The itinerary includes:

      France: Paris
Switzerland: Swiss Alps / Jungfrau Region
      Netherlands: Amsterdam
Plus visits to Germany and Belgium

For this tour itinerary, the main destination for the Schengen visa application is the French Embassy, as France is the country where the traveller will spend the most time during the tour.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten July 2026

We recommend checking the visa requirements with the relevant embassies or consulates, as visa requirements vary depending on your nationality and destination countries. While we are not a visa agency and cannot provide visa advice, you are welcome to book your tour before applying for your visa if you wish. Please note that we do not assist with booking international flights. You will need to arrange your flights independently.

    Asked on May 31st, 2026

Is the package include flight ticket and accommodation?

    Accommodation
    Flights / Transfers
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten June 2026

Flights are not included in the package. The tour includes accommodation throughout the duration of the trip, as well as transportation between destinations, guided experiences, and selected inclusions as per your itinerary. International flights to and from the starting and ending destinations would need to be arranged independently.

  • H

    Hayley

    Asked on May 14th, 2026

I expect to have a Schengen visa by August. However, as I understand, the tour/training starts from London, and currently I do not have a UK visa. Could you please advise whether there would be any support from the company side regarding the UK visa process? If no support is available, could you please share available tour options within the Schengen zone? It would be preferable if Switzerland is included in the itinerary.

    Tour Details
    Visa
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten May 2026

At this time, Expat Explore does not provide visa assistance or sponsorship for UK visas. We recommend checking the official UK Government website for full visa requirements and application guidance.

However, we do offer a range of tours that operate within the Schengen region and include Switzerland as part of the itinerary, which may be suitable depending on your travel preferences:

Europe Taster Tour (7 Days) – includes Paris, Swiss Alps, Amsterdam
Europe Escape Tour (12 Days) – includes Switzerland, Italy, France, Netherlands
Europe Explorer Tour (18 Days) – includes Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands

Please note that itineraries may vary depending on departure date.

    Age Range
    Price / Availability
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten May 2026

A 17-year-old traveller is still considered a child according to our tour policy and must be accompanied by at least one adult throughout the tour.

Regarding accommodation and pricing, the tour price shown generally includes your accommodation during the tour as outlined in the itinerary. Please also keep in mind that optional excursions and personal expenses are not included in the standard tour price.

Prices are always subject to change until the booking is fully confirmed.

  • C

    Chris

    Asked on May 7th, 2026

How much cash do you suggest travellers bring in Pounds, Swiss Francs and Euros for 7 days? Are there ATMs available if needed? Do most places accept credit cards or Apple Pay?

    Payments
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten May 2026

For this 7 day tour, credit cards are widely accepted across hotels, restaurants, shops, and most attractions, so they will comfortably cover the majority of your spending.

It is still a good idea to carry a small amount of cash in Euros for smaller purchases such as snacks, tips, or places that may prefer cash. A general recommendation is around €100–€200 per person for the full trip.

ATMs are also readily available throughout the destinations, so you can easily withdraw Euros during the tour if needed.

    Asked on May 5th, 2026

Is there anything we need to print or bring in terms of documents?

    Travel Support
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten May 2026

you don't need to print much, but here are the essentials to have ready:

Passport (valid and matching your booking details)
Visa documents (if required for your nationality)
Travel insurance details (policy info — digital copy is fine)
Tour Program (we'll email this 10–15 days before departure — you can keep it on your phone or print if you prefer)

It's also a good idea to have copies (digital or printed) of your passport and important documents, just in case.
