  I spent three months traveling in Cape Town, so I have one large suitcase and one small one. Is there a way to bring them with me on the tour, or would that be too complicated?

    The luggage weight limit is maximum 20kg per person for this tour, however we understand that sometimes travellers come to our tours by way of other trips that may be a bit longer, etc. so travellers may have more luggage. I have sent an email to our local team just to check with them if there is any flexibility they're able to have with the luggage limit and we'll get back to you within 2-3 business days with an answer from them.

    I can confirm that, including you, there are currently 13 travellers holding spots on this departure. This trip is guaranteed to operate, as it will run even if there is only one traveller booked. Therefore, you can be assured that the departure is confirmed and will go ahead.

    Could you please confirm how the accommodation works? I understand that some nights are in tents. As a solo traveller, will I be sharing the tent/room with another traveller of the same gender, or will I have my own accommodation? Also, is all the accommodation included in the tour price?

    All of the accommodation, even tents are based on twin-share so you'd be rooming with another solo female for the entirety of the trip. However, we do have a single supplement available if you wish to not share a room the whole time. But the single supplement excludes Day 7-9 in Swakopmund and Day 16-17 in the Okavango Delta, where you will be in shared accommodation. The single supplement would be an additional $565 USD.

    We don't provide a budget really as spending and eating habits vary greatly from traveller to traveller but based on experience, I'd suggest budgeting:
    
    Minimum: $300 USD
    Comfortable: $400 USD
    If you like cocktails, desserts, or some more upscale dinners: $500+ USD

    Are we going to travel by like bus? I hope that won't be a problem because I can't leave my suitcases in Cape Town.

    The overland trucks are equipped with 22 individual locker spaces, each measuring approximately 26 inches (66 cm) long, 18 inches (45 cm) wide, and 10 inches (26 cm) high. In addition, there are a couple of secure external lockers measuring approximately 0.7 m x 1.2 m, which are designed to accommodate larger bags or hand suitcases. A good option is to store your larger luggage in one of the external lockers and keep your day-to-day essentials in your allocated internal locker for easy access throughout the journey.

    Since we will be travelling through several different countries and destinations during the trip, I was wondering if there are any specific vaccinations, medications or other health precautions that you would recommend for this itinerary. In particular, are there any medications that travellers are usually advised to take or bring with them for specific diseases or risks in the areas we will be visiting?

    You don't need a visa for South Africa if you have a Russian passport - Visa is not required for a maximum of 90 days. You don't need a visa for Namibia if you have a Russian passport - Visa is not required for a maximum of 90 days for Tourism. You need a visa for Zimbabwe if you have a Russian passport. You don't need a visa for Botswana if you have a Russian passport. - Travellers don't need a visa to visit Botswana for Business or Tourism.

    There is no upper age limit on this tour, though the minimum age is 15 years. A single supplement is available if you'd prefer not to share accommodation, and this is subject to availability. Please note that the supplement excludes: Days 7–9 in Swakopmund (chalet stay) Days 16–17 in the Okavango Delta (camping). On these nights you will be in shared accommodation. For the rest of the trip, you would have your own room or tent.
