  Let me begin by saying we saw so many beautiful places in such a short time that it all runs together. This tour was advertised as fast paced and that was the TRUTH We were able to see a lot of Europe in a very short time. To do this it meant many early morning departures, one night hotel stays and a lot of bus time. The bus rides were not always pleasant, especially the days we traveled long distances when busses did not have USB or power ports. The bathrooms remained locked on all transports. There were scheduled stops along the way, but sometimes we walked long distances before a WC was available. The hotels were all decent however there were many late arrivals. I absolutely hated packing my suitcase to move to the next place, and not having enough time to wash and dry clothes. The included breakfasts were good. Many accommodations were 30 minutes or longer drive from the sights we were visiting, so it meant more time on the bus. The cities we saw were all amazing, with the company providing tours with a local guide for most of the larger cities. I loved seeing all the historical architecture and meeting new people on the tour and in the towns. It did feel very odd to have both Europamundo guides and the other travelers hopping on and off the trip almost daily. You never really knew who was traveling with you most of the time. Im glad we did this trip, but now we know that traveling by tour bus in this fast paced environment is NOT the right kind of vacation for us. I have lots of great pictures and happy memories to keep forever.Show more

  I appreciate having the information of the tour that can be found in My Trip, especially the detailed itinerary with time, list of hotels and the visa letter. Our guide, Raquel, was great I liked very much how she managed our tour. I also liked how she managed other passengers who always come late during meeting time before the bus leaves. I appreciate very much that the bus has usb charger. The things I did not like was that our bus temperature was too hot during our trip, it caused me headache. Me, together with most of the passengers were complaining and wanted to change bus instead of us having to endure that kind of temperature for the entire trip. Maybe the driver do not yet know how to operate the temperature controls, since I heard he has just received his license? Good thing it was resolved later in that day. There was an instance that i felt our driver, Justin, have been rude to me during our Day 4 tour in Edinburgh. He raised his voice to me when he saw me carrying my tripod while entering the bus. Maybe because my tripod was unfolded that time around 1.2-meter long when unfolded He scolded that I should have put it in the bus compartment, together with the luggages. My tripod was unfolded because I was running from outside, going into the bus because of sudden heavy snow/rain. Of course I did not have time to fold my tripod and put it inside my carrying bag because I was in a rush and was already getting drenched. I always carry my tripod inside the bus in all of my trips, and that was the first time that I was scolded for bringing a tripod in a bus, and I believe that bringing tripod inside the bus is not prohibited, as long as it does not bother other passengers or case safety hazard/issues. Please educate me if it really is prohibited. If it is not, please educate Justin. Despite those two incidents, I am overall happy with the trip. I will avail another trips with Europamundo in the future, and will recommend Europamundo to others.Show more

  I was initially skeptical -- too many bad reviews for tour operators these days -- but I was pleasantly surprised how good the trip turned out to be. As arranged, I had a pick up at Heathrow who dropped me to the hotel. Throughout the 14-day trip, hotel stay was nice and pleasant with free breakfasts. The hotels in Lyon and Zurich were especially good. Not all tour guides were fluent with English, but Fernando (London) and Thiery (Italy) and 'Disaster Phillipe' were great. Some of the outstanding trips were 1) cruise on Seine 2) train ride on Zurich metro 3) train ride down Grindelweld. On top, the many funicular rides and boat rides were well-planned and enjoyable.Show more

  The tour was acceptable overall, below are Pro’s and Con’s as we experienced the tour. Pros 1. Two of four tour guides were helpful and added to our trip 2. Comfortable bus that was not too crowded 3. Hotel provided breakfast were good Cons 1. Very poor communication to the group about many things. We were told there would be “panels” at the first hotel at the start of the tour, and we would meet the guide in the evening for and introduction. Neither of these things happened and the guide showed up late in the morning. 2. The first guides English was not adequate for a tour guide (this was an English tour). 3. The biggest complaint is the location of the hotels provided, they were always a long way from the city center. We were put in a hotel that was an hour out of London (with traffic) and were provided NO help on how to get to the city center. The same thing happened at every visited city – VERY disappointing. If a properly located hotel were not available, a pre-printed card with options for getting to the city the tour was visiting would be easy and valuable for the people on the tour. In some cases, we were given a handwritten note to take a picture of for help. On more than one occasion it was inaccurate. 4. The tour was left mid-day in Paris and told that there would be no available transfer back to the hotel many kilometers away. People had no idea how to get back to the hotel, or even what the name of the hotel was. This was not communicated in advance to the people on the tour and the tour guide handled it poorly. Directions given on the spot by the tour guide about the subway system were wrong and added to the frustration.Show more

  Overall the tour was ok. Hotels were decent. A lot of times they don't give you all the details so you miss out on a lot attractions that you have to buy tickets for. They're sold out by the time they tell you that you have "free time". Free time also usually only consisted of an hour maybe 2. They also don't pre purchase the tickets for the attractions that are included so we had to wait in those lines too. We waited in line for 3 hours for the Eiffel tower and only got to spend 30 minutes once we finally got up there. We swapped tour guides like every 2-3 days. Flor was good and so was Manuel. The two others we had weren't great. They weren't really familiar with the area or the schedule. The city tours were a waste and most places. Just drove around hoping to get a decent picture from the bus. Only good one was London because they stopped and let you off the bus for 15-20 mins at the attractions. I would recommend if you have never been out of your country and new to traveling. If you've traveled before I would go on your own. The bus drives are LONG but some had plugs so it was ok. Bring snacks!! We would leave the hotel between 7am and 8am and lunch wasn't until 1ish. Overall not bad but probably wouldn't do again.Show more
