  We enjoyed our trip. We had a small group of eight people in a van that let us each sit alone if we chose. Our guide was very good and super knowledgeable. The itinerary was excellent. There was quite a bit of driving, but that is to be expected in order to cover the areas. I would have enjoyed seeing some additional things such as the monkey sanctuary plus half day free rather than have a full free day for instance. The start of the tour had a mixup of hotels where we met the group but after that, it was super well organized. Food was wonderful, free days were nice and in good locations. Tours were excellent. Optional tours had a wide variety. Hotels were decent. They were not top quality because that was not the nature of the tour we chose. But they were very clean and many offered a good breakfast.Show more

  Our guide, Aquilino was great. Besides being knowledgeable and friendly, he obviously loved his culture. The basic trip was not too strenuous. Tikal was my favorite. The extra excursions were amazing but strenuous though we are glad we did them. We did ATM caves, which was amazing but strenuous and a bit scary….the water was deeper than normal so that added to complexity.We enjoyed the snorkeling in Caye Caulker.Show more

He helped arrange extra tours, made sure we went to the best places and it all felt very safe with him. Hotels were intrepide style - ok to sleep but on the run down side.Show more
