  Is that the entire Tour amount or is this Tour likely to sell out before March 4? I wouldn't be able to book a tour unless I know I have my vacation days and I also don't want to choose vacation days if the tour is likely to be sold out.

    We have 10 spots remaining and we are unable to gurantee if the there would be any spaces left by the time you get back to us around 03 March. We usually hold spaces for travelers until they make a decision but the best we can do is, hold it for 48 hours.

    April in Belize is a fantastic, popular time to visit, usually bringing hot, dry weather, calm seas, and excellent marine visibility for snorkeling and diving. Temperatures typically range from 72°F to 92°F (22°C to 33°C).

On the final day, April25, also nothing is going on, but we would need to fly out of BZE city. Would you help provide a transfer? What kind of cost are we looking at and what timeframe would we be looking at?

    Yes, the welcome meeting is at 6:00 PM on Day 1. If you were delayed and missed it, you would only miss the first night's accommodation and would be able to rejoin the group the following morning. We would be very happy to arrange a pre-night for April 17 for you at Best Western Plus Belize Biltmore Plaza. For a 12:40 PM flight, you would typically depart the hotel approximately 3 hours prior to departure (around 9:30–9:45 AM), depending on traffic and airport recommendations. This departure is guaranteed to operate. There are already 2 travellers confirmed, so the trip will run even if no additional guests join. You would not be at risk of cancellation due to low numbers. The trip is suitable for travellers aged 15 and above, so it's appropriate for adults of all ages within that range.

    If you cancel a trip: a) 56 days or more prior to departure, Intrepid will hold your deposit amount as a credit (Deposit Credit); b) between 31 and 55 days prior to departure, we charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the total booking cost; c) between 30 and 15 days prior to departure, we charge a cancellation fee of 60% of the total booking cost; or d) 14 days or fewer prior to departure, we charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking cost. Any Deposit Credit may not be applied to the same or similar dates of travel.

    My adult son is interested in coming along. Do you have any triple rooms and rates or how would that price out for him with his own room?

    Triple rooms are generally hard to come by on our trips that are not under our family travel style as triples are mostly reserved for travellers with young children. The single supplement cost if your son does not want to share a room would be $485 USD. But, if not wishing to spend more money he is welcome to opt for sharing with another solo male traveller.

    What happens if you don't have a second solo male? Would he be forced to buy the single supplement?

    If we don't have a second solo male on the trip, then he'd end up with his own room by default. We would never require a customer to pay for the single supplement if this happens to be how the passenger numbers fall - would just be like an additional bonus for them.

    Are you able to tell me the names of the hotels we will be staying at? What do you say about all of this crime and gang related problems in the south part of Belize city? I am particularly interested in knowing more about locations of the hotels, and whether a guide will be available, even during our free time. What country are the other tourists from who are booked on this tour? Mainly are these hotels not in south areas of Belize city? How safe are they? How busy are they? Are they in good locations to meals so that we don't need to walk too far for food or groceries? Any extra precautions do you recommend? What type of vehicles are we going to be traveling in? Are the vans going to be recognizable as tourist vehicles?

    What is the travel insurance you recommend? It looks like if we are from the USA we can't be required to take insurance, but if we do, which we will, what are the amount you recommend? $50,000 medical is pretty standard. Is that good?

    With regards to your query about travel insurance, we recommend that your policy provides coverage for personal accident, death, medical expenses, and emergency repatriation. Additionally, we strongly advise that it includes protection for trip cancellation or curtailment, personal liability, and loss of luggage or personal effects, to ensure you are fully covered in the event of any unforeseen circumstances before departure.

BELIZE CITY - Best Western Plus Belize Biltmore Hotel or similar (1 night) ORANGE WALK - Hotel de la Fuente or similar (1 night) SAN IGNACIO - Mildas Resort or similar (3 nights) CAYE CAULKER - The Caye Hotel or similar (2 nights) In Belize, we have our own Intrepid destination management company on the ground that manages all local arrangements and assists our travelers throughout the trip. Your tour will be led by a local leader who coordinates transport, accommodation, and activities, and will support the group during the journey.

    Are there anything's going on those dates that we want to avoid those dates like events or local holidays that will make it busy in Belize? Will we be on any public transportation or left alone to travel by ourselves for any portion? Is this a guaranteed departure once we book even though there would only be 4 people so far?

    There are only two travellers confirmed so far, with one person holding space for 48 hours. Average age is 40-60 so far out of the 2 confirmed/1 tentative booking - all female group so far. Just due to privacy we're not able to advise on travellers nationalities, but as a global company you'll find yourself travelling with people from all over the world! Transportation for the tour is via Private vehicle, Ferry, and River boat. The vehicle you're travelling in will be large to accommodate a max group size of 12 plus the guide, but as far as I know they are not branded or anything so not necessarily recognized as tourist vehicles. On public transport like the ferry, the trip leader is there to assist and ensure that everyone gets on together and safely. You won't be left to navigate things on your own, that is why your trip leader is there to help! Easter is early this year, so there's nothing affecting your chosen departure dates that we're aware of/would effect your itinerary at all. Departures are guaranteed with 1 traveller, so the tour is guaranteed to run at this stage. Intrepid will use local suppliers or private contractors for optional activities and things throughout the trip, although companies may change depending on availability for a given departure. We don't generally have a list as these are organized in destination and can change. Rest assured any companies that we use are always vetted prior and are ones that we maintain good relationships with as we run frequent tours through these destinations.

    How short of notice could we give you to get the extra hotel night added and also on the return? If we were to try to leave Saturday how early would you be able to get us to the airport? Is something like that even possible? Our flight would leave at 12:41 PM on Saturday. Or would we need to stay until Sunday? If I booked the best western for Thursday or Friday night prior to the tour and I booked it on my own, would we be able to purchase your transfers or do we need to also book the hotel through your company to get the transfers included at a fee for those earlier days of arrival?

    You can book pre- or post-tour accommodation either through us or directly with the tour start/end hotels, and we can arrange transfers accordingly. If you would like us to book the additional accommodation, the request must be received at least 10–14 days prior to departure. We can also arrange transfers on weekends. Usually, the driver will pick you up from the hotel 3–4 hours before your flight departure time.

    This trip is based on twin-share accommodation. For 3 adults, one traveller would share a room with another traveller of the same gender. A single supplement is available if you prefer a private room, subject to availability. Accommodation includes Hotels (6 nights) and Lodge (1 night).

    Unfortunately, no this trip is based on twin share accommodations as triple rooms cannot always be guaranteed at some of the properties that we stay at.

  Are you able to provide gluten free meals? I saw that this package deal comes with 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 1 dinner. If not, do you offer a discount because I will not be able to eat any of the meals? Are the tours okay with me bringing my own food in that case?
