The guide, Montassar Cherni (local agency, Scirocco?) was fantastic -- incredibly well-informed on ALL topics, accommodating and helpful, flexible, and open about even the most sensitive of topics. Given that he was also the driver, since only had 6 participants, he did an amazing job! My only negatives are: 1) El Mouradi Gammarth Hotel in Tunis is too far away from the center city; El Mouradi Hotels in other cities, however, did not have the excellent food that the Gammarth one did. 2) There wasn't enough "free time". We had a day and a half scheduled, of which we all agreed to take a side day trip with our guide; it would have been more enjoyable for me, however, if more days had a few more hours of free time. That would involve, perhaps, less detailed visits to certain places. 3) Sousse is totally unnecessary. Better to have gone to Hammamet. On the whole though, a wonderful trip to a fascinating country, at an excellent dollar value! If I could figure out who actually runs this tour (so many company names involved!), I'd be sure to give them an excellent rating on TripAdvisor.Show more
