Loved meeting Santa and his elf. The sleigh ride was fun except it was -30F and very cold. Helsinki is beautiful with a rich history. I would like to explore that further. The outdoor markets were fun with so many handmade items! Then there was the trill of having crossed the arctic circle into Lapland and meeting the Sami people. Of course the icing on the cake was seeing the aurora borealis. Enjoyed Nordic food, customs and people. The Finnish language is very hard, but everyone we met spoke excellent English. They made us feel welcomed and wanted there. When I told the Elf, Sparkle, one reason I was there was that my father was Finnish so I wanted to see the homeland she hugged me and said "welcome home"Show more

This Collette exploration tour was more than expected. Accommodations were fabulous as were the tour inclusions. The dog sledding was a highlight, but the reindeer sleigh and Santa Claus visit were wonderful, as well. Our guide was wonderful and thoroughly knowledgeable about Finland. I traveled with my daughter and it was a trip of a lifetime. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for the unusual.Show more

For tours departing after August 27th, 2026, a minimum payment of $349 is required to confirm your booking with Collette. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
