10-Day Finland Tour Packages
Picture ten days in a country where wilderness genuinely meets sophisticated design. Finland's got Helsinki's architecture and waterfront, Lapland up north with its wilderness, and the Lake District with blue waters going on forever. You might chase Northern Lights near Rovaniemi, visit Santa's village, and experience sauna culture. Summer brings midnight sun that messes with your sleep schedule. Winter means snow activities and those lights overhead.

10 Day Finland & Sweden Itinerary, incl. Helsinki and Stockholm
Finnish culture and nature blend across 10 days and 7 destinations, from Helsinki's urban core to Nuuksio's wilderness and UNESCO-listed Rauma. Guided city tours, forest hikes, and cultural experiences at Stallhagen brewery and traditional Finnish saunas create a comprehensive overview.

- Days 1-2
Helsinki & Nuuksio National Park
Start with an evening walking tour of Helsinki to get your bearings. On day two visit Nuuksio National Park just 40 minutes from the city for forest hiking. Visit Allas Sea Pool sauna complex in late afternoon when locals finish work. You'll need flip-flops and should book your sauna slot ahead of time. Note that Helsinki's metro is reliable but stops running at 11:30 PM.

- Days 3-4
Southwest Finland
Take a drive to Hanko Peninsula for a 6km coastal walk along Baltic shores. The path takes about 2 hours and you'll need good shoes since rocks can be slippery in wet weather. Visit historic Turku to see its riverside area, 13th-century cathedral and medieval castle. Make time for the UNESCO-listed Sammallahdenmaki burial site and the wooden town of Rauma. You'll find most restaurants in Turku along the Aura River. Try the local archipelago fish soup if it's in season.

- Days 5-6
Åland Islands
Take the 5.5-hour ferry through the Archipelago Sea with its 50,000 islands to reach Mariehamn. Explore the maritime capital before hiking the Grottstigen Cave Trails. The terrain is manageable but rocky with some steep parts. Hiking poles will come in handy. Visit Stallhagen brewery and medieval Kastelholm Castle. The Åland Islands are part of Finland but Swedish-speaking which adds interesting cultural variety.

- Days 7-8
Stockholm Introduction
The 4.5-hour ferry ride through Stockholm's archipelago offers great views. Sit on the port side as you enter Stockholm for the best city views. Spend time exploring Gamla Stan's medieval streets and visit City Hall where they hold the Nobel banquet. Plan at least 2 hours for the Vasa Museum and get there when it opens at 10 AM to avoid cruise ship crowds.

- Days 9-10
Stockholm & Archipelago
10 Days in Baltic Capitals, incl. Riga and Helsinki
The 10-day Finnish tour features 3 nights in Helsinki and 2 in Lappeenranta. Visitors marvel at Church-in-the-Rock, sail Lake Saimaa, walk through Lappeenranta Fortress, with optional trips to Suomenlinna Fortress. Accommodations at 4-star Hotel Glo Art and Scandic Patria include buffet breakfasts.

- Days 1-3
Riga, Latvia
Start in Latvia's capital. Visit Riga's UNESCO-listed Old Town early in the morning when the light is perfect for photos. Make sure to explore the Art Nouveau district with comfortable shoes. You'll be looking up a lot to see the detailed architecture. One traveler noted: "The Old Town walking tour gave us amazing insights into Latvian history, but wear layers as mornings can be chilly even in summer." On day 2, take a quick train ride to Jurmala, a seaside resort just 25 minutes from Riga Central Station. Look for the unique wooden villa architecture you won't find anywhere else in the Baltics. Day 3 is perfect for an optional trip to Gauja National Park. Visit Turaida Castle in the afternoon when there are fewer tourists.

- Days 4-6
Tallinn, Estonia
The bus ride from Riga to Tallinn takes about 4 hours along the coast. Stop in Parnu if you can. Once in Tallinn, visit the medieval Old Town first. Get to Toompea Castle early before cruise ships arrive. Want to see Alexander Nevsky Cathedral at its best? Visit during the 8am Orthodox service. The long summer days are perfect for exploring Kalamaja, a neighborhood known for wooden houses and cool cafes. You can also take a trip to Lahemaa National Park to see Estonia's beautiful manor houses. Remember to bring water and bug spray in summer.

- Days 6-10
Helsinki and Southern Finland
Take the 2-hour ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki. Sit on the right side for the best views of Helsinki's harbor. You'll notice right away how different the Finnish capital feels with its wide streets and Nordic design. Get to the Church-in-the-Rock at 9:45am to beat the crowds. Take a 2-hour train ride through scenic countryside to Lappeenranta. The Lake Saimaa evening cruise is a highlight but bring a jacket. The lake gets chilly even in summer. Spend your last day in Helsinki's Design District. Plan your shopping early since many stores close early on weekends. A recent visitor shared: "The mix of medieval Tallinn and modern Helsinki really showed the contrast between Baltic and Nordic culture. The Lake Saimaa cruise was magical in the long summer evening light."
