  Loved it! I have never done a trip with one driver/guide for the entire time. We definitely chose the right itinerary and by reading all of the reviews and questions beforehand, there were no real surprises on how the tour/meals/tips etc. would go. We were so happy to have had Zakariyae as our driver. He made our trip--he was fun, knowledgeable, answered our endless questions & adapted schedules/lunches etc when we needed to. The riads/hotels were lovely and the staff/owners were so accommodating. We needed an early breakfast a few times-- it was provided. Extra bottled water, done. Laundry-done in a timely fashion and at a great price. Now, a few pluses people don't ever mention in reviews...the what ifs. We added days at the front and back end so we could experience more time in Marrakesh outside of our trip. We booked the lodging directly with the tour operator. I wound up with a 36 hour stomach bug the first night. We were at Riad Dar Talah and they went above and beyond, checking in on me during the day and sending Houssam to the only pharmacy open that day after 1pm and bring back medications. Then a woman offered to cook plain rice to settle my stomach and let me know they had a room for me if I needed to stay longer (I did not). I also wound up with a family medical emergency in the US and I had to depart 2 days early. We messaged Ali with Morocco Top Travel's emergency line, they set me up with a driver from Essaouira to Marrakesh via What's App--I was on my way to the airport within 2 hours. Zak (our driver) met up with me to introduce me to the new driver and make sure I was okay. Not expected, but more than appreciated. We took Tour Radar's insurance with X.Cover and within 24 hours of filing the claim for the airport ride, 2 nights post trip hotel (that was not used) and a last minute 1 way ticket to the US, the money was in my bank account after asking one additional question. I have never made a claim before, but it was remarkably easy. I did not even have a receipt for the 3 hr airport drive, so I submitted the text from Morocco Top Travel noting the price, and that was enough for them. I hope to be back in Morroco at some point--as I never really saw much of Marrakesh, but I found the country to be beautiful with an amazing history, the people to be gracious and hospitable and both tour companies to be more than helpful and easy to communicate.Show more

Travelling as a group of friends, we explored many of Morocco’s most iconic destinations, experiencing its diverse landscapes, culture, history, and traditions. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed and covered the country’s essential highlights, from the vibrant medinas of Marrakech and Fez to the stunning Dades Valley, the unforgettable Sahara Desert experience in Merzouga, and the coastal charm of Tangier, Casablanca, and Essaouira. The journey felt like a genuine adventure from start to finish, allowing us to fully appreciate Morocco’s beauty, warmth, and character. We also appreciated the scenic stopovers along the way, which offered spectacular views of mountains, oases, and historic kasbahs. While the itinerary itself was excellent, there was some initial uncertainty regarding the daily plans and what to expect at each destination. A more detailed briefing for the driver/guide, including key historical and cultural information, would have enhanced our understanding and appreciation of the places we visited. There were also a few aspects of the tour that did not fully align with what had been advertised or included in the package. In particular, sandboarding on the desert dunes, which was listed as an included activity, was not offered during our stay in Merzouga. In addition, the complimentary eSIM promoted on the TourRadar website was not available through the TourRadar app as expected. We also noted that several locations mentioned in the published itinerary were not visited during the tour. While we appreciate that itineraries may occasionally need to be adjusted due to operational reasons, travellers would reasonably expect destinations specifically listed in the itinerary to be included or, at the very least, be informed in advance of any changes. Greater consistency between the published itinerary and the actual experience would help manage expectations and further enhance customer satisfaction. The transport arrangements were excellent throughout. Having a dedicated vehicle for our group made the journey comfortable, flexible, and relaxed. The vehicle was modern, spacious, and well suited to the longer travel days, allowing us to explore at our own pace without feeling rushed. The accommodation was varied and generally excellent. The riads in Marrakech and Fez were particularly memorable, offering an authentic and immersive experience in the heart of the medinas. Our stay in the Dades Valley was another highlight, thanks to its spectacular mountain setting, while the luxury desert camp in Merzouga provided unforgettable moments, including a sunset camel ride, a magical evening under the stars, and a breathtaking Sahara sunrise. The hotels in Tangier and Casablanca offered a comfortable and modern contrast. The only slight disappointment was the final riad in Essaouira, which felt below the standard of the previous accommodations, although the lovely rooftop breakfast helped end the trip on a positive note. Our driver and guide, Ayoub, was one of the highlights of the entire journey. He was cheerful, friendly, and professional throughout, making even the longest drives enjoyable. While we would not describe him as the most experienced guide or the most fluent English speaker, he consistently made a genuine effort to communicate, share information, and ensure we had a positive experience. We also adapted by rephrasing and simplifying our questions when necessary, and together we were able to communicate effectively. His willingness to engage, learn, and help was always appreciated and contributed greatly to the friendly atmosphere throughout the trip. Ayoub also provided valuable insights into Moroccan culture, traditions, and everyday life, which enriched our experience. We particularly enjoyed the personal conversations and stories we shared along the way. Ayoub was a highly skilled and experienced driver, and we felt safe throughout the journey. However, on some of the long, open stretches of road, there were occasions when the driving speed felt excessively fast and appeared to exceed the permitted speed limits by a significant margin. We gently reminded him on a few occasions to reduce his speed and remain within the national speed limits, which he respected. While this was a concern for us at times, it did not detract from our overall confidence in his driving ability, professionalism, and commitment to ensuring we reached each destination safely. Overall, this was an exceptional tour that provided a wonderful introduction to Morocco. Ayoub’s warmth, professionalism, and good humour played a major role in making the experience so special, and we are grateful for the many lasting memories created throughout this unforgettable journey.Show more

My group was to be 4 people, but 3 cancelled and I ended up traveling alone. That is not what I wanted. I tried to cancel once the driver picked me up and told me that, but the tour operator would not allow it. The trip itself is a little pricy. The hotels are in the $60 - $80 per night range. And they aren’t very comfortable. And there is way too much driving. With some days up to 9 hours in the car, and then you ride a camel for 10 minutes and the day is done. The food is then bad and you sleep in a tent with loud music from nearby camps going until midnight. Then you leave in the morning. Not worth it. I would axe the desert from this tour and stay in the north: Fes, Tangier, Casablanca and Essaoura are nice places to visit. I flew into marakesh and was picked up at the airport, then we left in the morning. So I never saw Marakesh. What’s point? Might as well fly into Casablanca, anb go one way to Marakesh then spend a day there. Overall, this tour has many issues nd should be re-thought and re-priced.Show more

  We’ve just finished an amazing trip in Morocco! We joined the “Morocco 10 Days Tour from Marrakech” arranged by Morocco Top Travel through TourRadar, and it turned out even better than we expected. Overall I was disappointed with the tour as I got no information on places we were passing through, history or culture from the driver. I had to question why we were not visiting places as per the itinerary because I was getting no information along the way. I tried asking a few questions but the driver had to google translate so I gave up asking. The guides in Fes and Volubilis were fantastis and so informative. A few items on the itinerary were not as described: 1.Meknes, my driver said the city was closed to tourists since the earthquake, I hadn't seen anything about this online and even tried booking tickets and there was no problem. 2. Tangier, city tour supposed to be included, my driver said it was not so I saw very little of Tangier as we arrived after 4pm & left at 9am. Asilah, on the itinerary, but driver said not included and too far off the route to drive, he eventually agreed to go there & to be honest it was a highlight of my trip. Marrakech, driver said early start back to Marrakech not on the itinerary. He wanted to leave Essaouira at 1pm to go straight to the airport. I emailed the company & he then agreed to leave at 9am. We were in Marrakech at 12pm and had all the main sights done by 2.30pm. Plenty of time for my 7pm flight. I expected a better service for such a good sounding tourShow more
