- Day 1
Steeg
You'll arrive in Steeg and get settled into your accommodation situated in the Lechtal valley. Take some time to orient yourself around the area, check out your lodging, and get ready for the hiking that starts tomorrow. This is a good day to rest up after travel and maybe walk around the village to get a feel for the landscape.

- Day 2
Steeg to Elbigenalp
Start hiking the Jochweg path, which runs alongside the Lech river heading toward Holzgau. You'll cross one of Europe's longest pedestrian suspension bridges here, then continue through open meadows and into forested sections. From there, you'll reach Elbigenalp, which sits at the valley's geographic center and is known for its traditional wood craft work. The full day takes you through a nice mix of terrain.

- Day 3
Elbigenalp to Stanzach
Begin by hiking through a nature reserve to reach Häselgehr, where you can stop at the ornate parish church. After that, head uphill toward the Doser-waterfall, taking in the views along the way. From there, follow a high-altitude path with views out over the wild Lech river before arriving in Stanzach, a quiet mountain village. This day involves more elevation gain than the previous one.

Stanzach to Höfen
Today you'll experience the wild landscape around the Lech river as you hike past the Lechzopf toward Forchach. Cross another suspension bridge, then move through the Moosberg nature reserve. You'll pass by the Johannesbrücke bridge and Weissenbach on your way to Höfen, a quiet village where you'll spend the night. The day takes you through varied terrain with river views throughout.

Höfen to Füssen
Follow the panoramic trail with views across to Frauensee lake and through the Pflacher Au nature area. Keep going to Pflach village, and then you have a choice: catch a bus ride to Füssen or continue hiking the full distance if you're feeling strong. Either way, you'll end the day in Füssen, which marks the end of your valley hiking route.
