- Day 1
Frankfurt
You'll arrive in Frankfurt and get settled at your hotel. Your guide meets you from 7:00 PM onward to go over what's ahead.

Frankfurt - Rothenburg - Heidelberg
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll walk through Frankfurt's main attractions like Römer Square and the Cathedral in the Old Town. From there, you head out to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a medieval town that feels frozen in time. Later that evening you continue on to Heidelberg.

Heidelberg
Starting with breakfast, you'll spend the morning in Heidelberg's Old Town checking out the historic half-timbered buildings. The castle visit gives you nice views across the Neckar Valley, and you'll see the Great Wine Barrel and cross the Old Bridge from the 18th century. By afternoon, you have free time to wander around on your own.

After breakfast, the day involves driving through the scenic Neckar and Rhine valleys with their vineyards and forests. You'll cross into France and get a quick look at Strasbourg's Gothic cathedral and old center before heading to Freiburg.

Freiburg - Black Forest - Lindau - Munich
You'll head through the Black Forest after breakfast and visit the world's largest cuckoo clock in Schonach Untertal. Next, you continue to Lindau, an island town on Lake Constance with a nice harbor and old architecture. Then you'll drive through the Allgäu region with its alpine meadows and traditional farmhouses on your way to Munich.

You'll also see the Royal Residence, Opera Square, and several other churches and historic landmarks.

After breakfast, you'll depart toward Vienna through the scenic Danube Valley. There's a short stop in Dürnstein to see its medieval charm and the castle ruins where King Richard the Lionheart was once held, then you continue on to Vienna.

Vienna
