Thanks to the very professional and warm services of our travel agent Bernard Bacle at Club Aventure Travel in Ottawa, Canada we tailored a made to measure trip to these two regions.
Bernard Bacle arranged with a local partner Aborigen Tours to provide transfer and guide services all along our journey in Santiago (Chile) and region and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
A huge part of the success of this trip was the use of guides to accompany my wife and I. Arriving in Santiago (SCL) we slept at the airport Holiday Inn. Then the following morning we were picked by a chauffeur Mario and guide Edmundo for two days to and from Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. Edmundo and Mario teamed up to give incredible service. They were so knowledgeable, warm, friendly, and completely at our service. The program they had in store for us was varied and included info on history, geography, social issues, culture, politics, and every subject we would find to discuss about.
Back in Santiago we were taken on a ½ day tour and visited interesting venues.
Then we transferred to Buenos Aires, Argentina where another guide Micaela and driver Rodrigo took us from the airport to our hotel. We had an unusual experience in the hotel since our room was broken into and the room safe was stolen; in fact it was put in my wife’s travel suitcase, meaning that not only did we loose an iPad and papers (that were placed in the safe) but also much of my wife’s clothing and accessories (ie camera spare battery and charger and more items).
We contacted Micaela and she came to our rescue the very next day by accompanying us to two shopping malls to replace as much items as we could, since we were boarding a cruise ship on that day.
When we came back to Buenos Aires at the end of the cruise, we had arranged with this same company to pick us at the cruise terminal and transfer us to the same hotel. It was then Gabriel the company owner that completed this task. Furthermore, he helped us negociate with the hotel to get them to refund all the belongings we had lost in this robbery.
Finally, the hotel offered a good compensation and we continued shopping to replace every item once back home.
We had another wonderful guided walking tour in Buenos Aires with Joëlle, very charming person and sooo knowledgeable and interesting.
I can’t say enough about the total dedication to us by Aborigen Tours. Customer satisfaction is their number one priority and they, by far, exceeded all our expectations!
Very professional, always on time, new and clean vehicles, very nice drivers and guides. Everything flowed smoothly!
Excellent tour, services and attention from all the team Aborigen Tours. Thanks for making an amazing trip for us.
We very warmly recommend both Bernard Bacle at Club Aventure Travel in Ottawa and Gabriel and his staff at Aborigen Tours in Argentina
Excellent tour: well organised, superb guide, fantastic hotels and very comfortable coach. The train journey was a very nice added touch. We would highly recommend.

The WhatsApp was used to keep us informed and updated. However, there is some room for improvements. I’ll start with Copán in Honduras. I was at Copán 30 years ago just before the park released the almost completely intact underground Rosalila Temple to the públic. Back in 1996 the local mayor allowed us entry because we were visiting from the Embassy. It was magnificent but at that time no fotos were allowed. Forward 30 years, 2026, this tour didn’t allow us time to visit Rosalila nor was there time to visit the museum on the grounds which were huge disappointments. Although the Rosalila and Museum weren’t mentioned in the itinerary it was mentioned of some leisure time. That didn’t happen. Much of the time was taken for the guides to translate the areas in English and in Spanish. The English speakers were annoyed waiting for the guides to finish translating to the Spanish speakers and ViceVersa. For the distance driven there should have been significant time to have toured these two areas. What a shame to be so close.
The same went on with the other areas we toured in El Salvador and in Guatemala waiting for the guides to finish from one language to the other. The complaints/comments were the guided tours should just be in a single language rather than standing around waiting for our turn.
We strongly recommend TourRadar but will also let our friends know to review each itinerary and if there’s a place they want to visit and it’s not listed they may have to hire a private tour guide.
Thanks TourRadar for the opportunity for us touring the Mayan Triangle.

Our tour guide Eric was excellent he was able give us information about the history of the sites we visited and the history of Taiwan as a country. All the hotels were excellent some of the best I've ever stayed in. Our driver Michael was an excellent driver and the bus was very comfortable. We also had time in the evenings to enjoy the night life. The last day was the Taipei city tour again it was great our tour guide David was very knowledgeable and the driver was good.

Everything was so well planned, but still gave us time to enjoy each place at our own pace. Walking through Rome, seeing the Sistine Chapel, and standing in front of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, it all felt like a dream. The guides were friendly and passionate, and the whole trip ran smoothly. Truly a beautiful experience I’ll never forget!

TourRador did an excellent job. Sadly as I went through a third party i paid almost 2.5 times more then those that booked directly. Otherwise everything was great.

I feel a lack of RESPONSIBILITY on their part, because they confirmed a tour in SPANISH and after making all the payments it is very easy for them to say that THERE IS NO SUCH TOUR, when they themselves confirmed it and my clients are very upset by this event.
They missed a flight for the amount of 16,000 pesos, just as I as an agency lost some clients, because of their IRRESPONSIBILITY.

My only complaint would be that instructions for the pickup should be more clear, I had to walk a couple of KMs to get to the place and when I couldn’t find it I got very frustrated. Also it would’ve been nice to have been given the accommodation details when they were promised instead of a couple days in advance.
I had to request all communication including the itinerary, when will pickup be, etc. Aborigen tours outsources to local companies so it's very difficult to get information as you don't know who will…I had to request all communication including the itinerary, when will pickup be, etc. Aborigen tours outsources to local companies so it's very difficult to get information as you don't know who will be the actual tour guide, pickup person, etc.

Otherwise, I felt good on the excursion.

It would have have been interesting to have had more exposure to the indigenous people and their culture and also the old town at Tula

The tours in Atacama were great and our guide was exceptional. All the transportation between hotels and airports ware very good. The hotels in Santiago and Atacama were picked by the company in Argentina. The hotel in Santiago had almost no existant internet, a lot of the receptionists didn't sppeak English and the room last night was very old, with no elevator to the 5th floor. The lodge in Pedro de Atacama was ok, but no TV and very bad internet and it was located far from downtown. Everytime we had to go to eat the owners had to drive us downtown and back. Also we were not adviced what to bring for Atacama desert. We had to shop for sweaters, hats, gloves when we arrived. If the tour was completly handle by Chilean company that would have been communicated in advance. The guide in Samtiago, Valparraiso and Vina del Mar was good, but we didn't go to all places that were listed in the tours. In summary, a great places to visit but the tour can be improved if handle by a single company in Chile.

Timing of the program was not good, i.e. at Monteverde we did not got enough time to spent at the location.
Transport between Toruguero and Arenal was not adequate enough: the bus was not spacy enough so we were with 10 people in one small bus.
We will not advice others to choose for a tour like yours.

60 year old and 30 years old Mexicali men. She had to first speak Spanish, then English. She also took me where I was interested - political protests, Aztec Temple Mexico City.
She changed schedule for me as late in afternoons I was worn out.
Hotel Royal and Morelia had no English speaking staff most of the time. Hotel Royal, both rooms had mattress deflated in middle.
I had trouble figuring 20 % tip based on $1800 tour cost using ATM. Told her I'd send to
her when I returned home. My bank advised me against Western Union or some such device saying easily rigged.
She was excellent for me, though.

I had to make several complaints, i had to ask several times for information and itinerary confirmation. I had to complain about 2 hotels i was staying in both of which were stays of 3 days each. I was due to get a bus from San pedro de atacama to arica at 8.30pm, i arrived at the bus station 45 mins before to be told that no buses were going out that evening at all. I was in a cold dark bus station in the middle of nowhere alone and it took some time for this to be organised. I spent another night in atacama, missed the trip to arica and had to spend extra time in Santiago. I was very disappointed by the whole thing... It was badly organised and badly run. The tour was not good value for money and the accommodation was awful. I'm making further complaints.
