    Mexico City

    You'll land at Benito Juárez International Airport where a representative meets you for your hotel transfer. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to relax or wander around the city and get your bearings.

  2. Day 2

    San Miguel de Allende

    Following breakfast, you head to Querétaro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to see the Aqueduct, Ex-Convent of the Cross, and walk through the Historic Center. Later you continue to San Miguel de Allende to check out the cobblestone streets, Parish of San Miguel Arcángel, and Chapel of the Holy House.

    After breakfast, you travel to Dolores Hidalgo to visit the Casa Hidalgo Museum and learn about the birthplace of Mexican independence. Then it's on to Guanajuato where a guide takes you through the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, Juárez Theater, Valenciana Mine, Alley of the Kiss, the University, and the city's underground passages.

    Breakfast comes first, then you travel to Zacatecas, a colonial mining city that's a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll head up to Cerro de la Bufa for panoramic views, take a cable car ride, and tour El Edén Mine. If you're interested, the evening offers a street dance with Tambora music and an optional visit to a discotheque inside a mine.
