Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
Staff will meet you at Cairo airport to handle your visa and get your bags sorted, then drive you to your 5-star hotel near the Pyramids. After you settle in and get your bearings, the rest of the day is open. You can relax at the hotel, take a walk around the area, or just rest up after your flight.

- Day 2
Giza - Luxor
An Egyptologist leads you through the Great Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza this morning, and you can go inside one of the pyramids if you want. Lunch is traditional Koshary, then you'll see the Grand Egyptian Museum with Tutankhamun's gold treasures and other artifacts. Later this evening, head to the train station for an overnight sleeper train to Luxor.

Luxor
You arrive in Luxor early and cross the Nile to spend the morning and early afternoon on the West Bank. See the Valley of the Kings, several tombs, Temple of Queen Hatchepsut, Valley of the Craftsmen at Deir el-Medina, and the Colossi of Memnon. Head back to your 5-star hotel on the Nile for the afternoon to rest. Later, the Luxor Temple in town is beautifully lit up at night and worth visiting.

Luxor
Take it easy this morning after your early start yesterday. After lunch, walk through the massive Karnak temple complex with its 134 towering columns, the huge pylon entrance, and various sacred chapels. If you're interested, there's an optional sunrise hot air balloon flight over the West Bank that you can book.

Luxor
Your day is open to relax at the hotel or continue exploring Luxor's history. You could browse local markets, check out museums, take a felucca sailing trip to nearby Banana Island, or arrange more sightseeing through your guide. In the evening, head to the train station for an overnight sleeper train back to Cairo.

Cairo
You arrive back in Cairo this morning and get transferred to your hotel. Most of your day is free to walk around Cairo on your own or sign up for optional tours. In the late afternoon, join a guided walk through Old Cairo's back streets and historic bazaars. You'll pass through the Bab al-Futuh gateway and wander through areas known for metalwork, spices, pottery, and jewelry before reaching Khan-el-Khalili bazaar. Grab mint tea and shisha, pick up souvenirs, and soak in the energy of the markets.

Your morning and early afternoon are free for last-minute sightseeing or shopping before your airport transfer. If you have an evening flight, optional tours are available.
