Itinerary
- Day 1
Istanbul to Izmir - Smyrna - Pergamon - Kusadasi
After your hotel pickup in Istanbul, you'll head to the airport for a domestic flight to Izmir. Once you land, your guide will be waiting to take you through ancient Smyrna, where you'll see the Church of St. Polycarp. From there, it's on to Pergamon to walk the Acropolis and check out Greek and Roman temples, plus that famous theatre carved into the hillside that's one of the steepest around. You'll wrap up by checking into your hotel in Kusadasi for the night.

- Day 2
Ephesus - House of the Virgin Mary - Basilica of St John - Pamukkale
Starting after breakfast, you'll travel to Selcuk to visit the House of the Virgin Mary, an important pilgrimage location where Mary is believed to have spent her final years. Next comes Ephesus, where you'll walk across marble streets and see well-preserved theatres, fountains, and other public structures from ancient times. The Basilica of St. John is up next, built at the site where St. John the Apostle is thought to be buried. Later in the day, you'll head to Pamukkale and check in at your hotel there.

Pamukkale - Hierapolis - Laodicea
This morning, you'll explore Pamukkale's white travertine terraces formed by thermal waters flowing down the mountainside. After that, you'll see Hierapolis, an ancient city that was once a healing center. Then it's to Laodicea in the Lycus River Valley to walk through its ruins and see old avenues, theatres, and church remains. You'll drive back to Izmir in the evening and stay at your hotel there.

Thyatira - Sardis - Philadelphia - Return to Istanbul
After breakfast, you'll travel to Thyatira to look at its ruins and learn about its spiritual history. From there, head to Sardis to see ancient remains and understand their biblical importance. Later you'll reach Philadelphia to visit the church of brotherly love before heading to Izmir Airport for your evening flight back to Istanbul.
