Tokyo
You'll arrive in Japan and clear customs, then take a shared shuttle bus to your hotel. The afternoon and evening are free to settle in and look around the area at your own pace. You'll get details about when your tour officially kicks off later today.

- Day 2
Tokyo
Your guide leads a five-hour tour through Tokyo's neighborhoods, hitting Zojoji Temple for views of Tokyo Tower, the famous Shibuya Crossing, Meiji Shrine and Omotesando Avenue, the Imperial Palace gardens, Nijubashi Bridge, Akihabara's anime shops, Tokyo Skytree for city views, and Sensoji Temple with its Nakamise Street shops. Later you'll take the subway to Shinjuku, walk around this busy district, grab dinner at a local restaurant, then head back to your hotel.

- Day 3
Tokyo - Mount Fuji - Kawaguchiko
The drive heads toward Mount Fuji with a stop at Arakurayama Sengen Park for views of the mountain. You'll continue to Kawaguchiko lakeside town to visit Fuji Sengen Shrine, take a boat ride on the lake, and drive up to the Fifth Station at 7,556 feet where you'll see forest and mountain views. At night you'll stay at a traditional ryokan and soak in the onsen hot spring bath.

Kawaguchiko - Iyashi no Sato Nenba - Toyota - Kyoto
You'll drive scenic roads around lakes to reach Iyashi no Sato Nenba, a restored traditional village with arts, crafts shops, and cultural exhibits. Next comes Shiraito Falls, a 66-foot cascade, then the Toyota Museum in Nagoya. The day finishes with travel to Kyoto for your overnight stay.

- Day 5
Kyoto
Today you'll explore Kyoto starting at Togetsukyo Bridge in Arashiyama for views, then visit Tenryuji Temple and its bamboo forest, Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Imperial Palace, and Kinkakuji Temple with its gardens. After that you'll have free time to walk through Gion, the city's traditional district with narrow streets and old wooden buildings.

- Day 6
Kyoto - Nara - Osaka
You'll head to Nara to see Todaiji Temple and its giant Buddha statue, then interact with the friendly deer in the park around it. From there you'll visit Horyu-ji Buddhist Temple, a UNESCO site with one of the world's oldest wooden structures and Japan's oldest Buddhist temple. Later you'll drive to Osaka arriving in the evening, then head to Dotonbori, a lively colorful district for nightlife and food.

You'll take a ferry to Itsukushima Shrine on the sacred island, explore the shrine and town center, have lunch, and return to your Hiroshima hotel for dinner.
