  Overall, this was an enjoyable, enlightening, and fun trip that gave me a great opportunity to see a significant portion of central Europe, and with little complications or bumps in the road. That's not easy considering the trip was during Christmas, and involved multiple busses, passengers, and a wide variety of attractions. My trip was essentially composed of three seperate tour groups with three guides, as I began in Rome and ended in Amsterdam over a nearly two week journey. While it was great to see so much, often stops felt rushed as had to quickly move on from one destination to the next. Sometimes there were delays due to passengers arriving late, or unforeseen complications. A boat ride in Vienna I think was cancelled last minute due to fog. I also was given directions for the incorrect bus at one point in Prague, and wound up being dropped off at the wrong hotel. I had to pay for an Uber to my correct hotel. I think in the future I will focus on only visiting one or two countries at a time. For this trip I saw a total of seven. Seven countries in just under two weeks does not give enough time to properly see and appreciate the many beautiful attractions, historical buildings, or the general ambiance and uniqueness of each locale. This is especially true for countries like Italy, or cities like Amsterdam. Seeing so many countries in such a short time also creates a lot of moving parts and complications in terms of travel and bus schedules. It's quite a juggling act for Europamundo to pull off, especially during the holiday season. I would schedule another tour with this company, but only for a trip that is more low-key and relaxed. This one, due to seeing so many countries so quickly, was somewhat of a sensory overload, and did not give me the opportunity to really absorb everything before having to be rushed to the next spot. Still, there were many opportunities to walk around on my own and see the many sites, including the many Christmas markets. It was largely a great trip that I'll always remember, and a good value for the money.Show more

  On the first walking tour in Rome there was a group of 80 people! That was ridiculous. On top of that we swapped buses and guides 3 or 4 times on our 14 day tour. We ended up with a Spanish group on one leg. The last guide we had was terrible. He would be always giving wrong information and he was consistently late for meetings. If he said we had to meet up at a certain time, he would always be late, sometimes up to 20+ minutes.Show more

  There was 1 guide from Austria to Prague that was always really unprepared, her accent and choice of words was so difficult to understand and I am sure we received less than half of the information and details than the Spanish group. I think her name was Beatriz, also she was rude a couple of times.Show more

  great experience! We went to top sights, and the cruise were amazing. It’s spring time, almost summer, I just wished the hotels have better ACs. And longer time for breakfast, because we are always hurrying in the morning since most departure time from hotel is around 7AM. Overall, the itinersries are well-planned, and tour guides were great.Show more

  A very big shoutout to our tour guides for being so caring and accommodating, with the most special 10 stars to Yurena on our Italy leg. She did way beyond her job. Other guides did really great too such as Hugo (or Yugo?), Nikki, and Javier. I'm not sure if it's European standards, but all hotels we went too are literally hot. AC doesn't cool up, even if we adjust it to cool mode and lowest temperature. It's spring time (near summer), and ACs are just hot too. Asian ACs are way way better. I'm not sure if it's European standards, or because the hotels we went to are 3 stars. Would appreciate too if Amsterdam hotel is near the city center (not near the airport).Show more

  Meticulously planned but very average and inconsistent execution... when there were 3 different guides doing tours, we enjoyed time only with guide Padro. Also enjoyed some locations. Pros: lots of activities in short amount of time... literally living on edge... many locations with good local guides. Made real good Filipino friends, perfect takeaway from tour. Cons: tour guide forgot us on day 1, explanation given to us was too many people join and leave so had no idea we were joining... mistakes happen, how we deal with them matters. Additionally there was little flexibility during tour, even on last visit of the day, they couldn't provide extra time when requested by everyone. Bad weather can be handled by changing item on itinerary, but we were mostly forced out in rain and forced into bus once rain stops... there was Spanish tour identical to our English tour, they were provided with flexible options and practical experiences - so it was ruining our tour knowing we are left out. Only biggest highlight for tour was customer service pre/during tour by team at office (Gaby), and guide Padro.... rest was good enough but not so much enjoyable.Show more

Please note that any change of guide or coach is solely based on operational reasons, offering flexibility to our clients. Fellow travelers may have different itineraries and need to change guides or coaches to join the next group for the subsequent segment of their circuit. It is important to note that as your itinerary is intensive and has various different activities and visits per day, the timeline has to be followed tightly; therefore, some days may feel rushed. We have over 2000 different itineraries, and there are various options that offer a more relaxing pace and leisurely time. At Europamundo, transparency is of utmost importance. As outlined in our terms and conditions on our website, all our overland routes, whether in group or private settings, include the accompaniment of tour leaders (English-speaking) and, where specified, local guides. Due to the global nature of Europamundo, groups may be bilingual based on the number of passengers. The service may be provided bilingually (usually in English and Spanish), either with two tour leaders, one for each language, or a single tour leader explaining in both languages.
