Itinerary
- Day 1
Svolvaer
You'll arrive in Svolvaer for a welcome meeting at 6 pm, though if you get there early, there's the Lofoten War Memorial Museum to check out, a brewery tour if that interests you, or kayaking if you want to get on the water. After everyone gathers for the meeting, you'll head to dinner at a local restaurant with your fellow travelers to get to know each other.

Stamsund
You'll start by lacing up your hiking boots and heading out to tackle Djeveltrappa, also known as Devil's Staircase, which takes you toward Floya peak. Along the way you'll pass through Djevelporten (Devil's Gate) and you'll see Svolvaergeita, that iconic rock formation that locals call the Svolvaer Goat. The trail brings you to the summit where the views spread out across eastern Lofoten in all directions. Once you're back from the hike, you've got free time to relax and grab dinner at one of the local restaurants in the area. Later in the early evening, you'll head to catch a ferry to Stamsund.

Stamsund
The Steinetinden and Stamsundheia loop is on the agenda today, moving peak to peak along a hilly ridge. You'll see panoramic views across the Vestforg and out toward Vestvagoya Island as you walk. Once the hike wraps up, your local leader can point you toward a restaurant for dinner in the evening.

Svolvaer to Reine
You're taking the bus to Reine, a small fishing village on Moskenesoya Island. From there, you'll start the Reinebringen trail with its distinctive stone steps built by Sherpas from Nepal. At the summit, the panoramic views cover Reine, Sakrisoy, Hamnoy, and the waters of Reinefjord and Kjerkfjord spread out below. The rest of your evening is free to wander around Reine on your own.

- Day 5
Reine
After breakfast, you'll take the ferry to Vindstad for the Bunesstranda hike, one of Norway's beautiful beach walks. The route takes you along fine white sand with turquoise waters framed by Arctic wilderness, and you'll pass through the coastal village of Vinstad with its old houses and beach huts. Later in the day, the ferry brings you back to Reine.

- Day 6
Reine to Svolvaer
This morning you're heading back to Svolvaer, but you'll stop at Lofoten Gardsysteri along the way, an organic and biodynamic free-range goat cheese farm. There's a tasting tour where you can learn how they make cheese from fresh milk and see the dairy goats. Once you reach Svolvaer, the afternoon and evening are yours to explore, and maybe grab dinner with your group to talk through the highlights of your time here.
