Barcelona to French Riviera
You'll meet your trip manager and the rest of the group before heading out from Barcelona. The drive takes you along the French Riviera coastline, where you'll see those blue waters and all the upscale charm the region's known for. Dinner's included tonight, and after that the evening is yours to check out the area however you like.

- Day 2
French Riviera to Monaco
There's an optional bike ride along the coast early on if you want it. Later you'll explore the area, which is famous for lavender honey, aioli, and rosé wine production. This evening you head to Monaco to see the Monte Carlo Casino and the Royal Palace. You'll return to your accommodation after.

Monaco to Cinque Terre to Pisa
You're traveling south to Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage site made up of five fishing villages stacked into the hillside. Your included rail pass lets you move between the villages on your own schedule, so you can hike if that appeals to you, do a food crawl, or try a wine tasting. Later you'll take the train to Pisa for the night.

- Day 4
Pisa to Florence
Start with the Leaning Tower of Pisa and wander through the city's markets while grabbing gelato. You'll also see Renaissance artworks and watch someone do leather-working. Later you head to Florence. If you're interested, there's an optional traditional Tuscan dinner with antipasti and wine available this evening.

Florence to Sorrento
You're leaving Florence and heading down Italy's coast to Sorrento. By evening you'll be watching the sunset from this seaside town. There's an optional visit to La Sorgente, a family-run mozzarella farm, where you can have an authentic Italian meal with fresh mozzarella, olive oil, and limoncello.

- Day 6
Sorrento to Capri
Today's a day trip to Capri, the island with dramatic cliffs and upscale cafes all over it. You can optionally take a coastal cruise with swimming breaks and great views, or just explore on your own. Back in Sorrento later, you'll check out the historical center and try some local gnocchi for dinner.

Sorrento to Pompeii to Rome
You'll start with views of the Amalfi Coast as you travel. Then there's a guided walk through Pompeii, where you'll see the Roman ruins preserved from when Mount Vesuvius erupted. You pass by Vesuvius on the way to Rome and explore some of the city's most well-known sights once you arrive.

Rome
Start early to get the most out of your day. You'll see the Colosseum and get up close with Roman architecture. The afternoon is open for you to explore however you want. There's an optional pasta cooking class with dinner if you want to do that this evening.

Rome to Verona to Venice
You're heading to Verona first to check out the Romeo and Juliet balcony and the ancient Roman Arena. From there you continue to Venice, a city built across 118 islands with canals instead of streets. You'll have time to see gondolas and walk across bridges on your own. Don't worry about seeing everything today, since tomorrow is completely open.

Venice to Austrian Tyrol
You're leaving Venice and heading through the Dolomite Mountains toward Austrian Tyrol. There's an optional white-water rafting experience if that sounds good. When you arrive, you'll stay at Contiki's private Austrian chalet and have time to explore what's around it. Welcome dinner is included tonight.

Austrian Tyrol
You'll wake up to mountain views from the chalet. You can choose what to do, so consider a bike tour through the green valleys, try tandem paragliding, take a leisurely walk, or just relax at the chalet. Hot chocolate, a gondola ride up the mountain, or just soaking in the scenery are all options.

Berlin is yours to explore at your own pace. Amsterdam
Amsterdam has some unique spots to check out. There's the STRAAT Museum for street art and graffiti, or you can do an optional canal cruise. Your final night includes a traditional Dutch meal at a local cheese farm where you'll also learn about clog-making and local games.

Amsterdam to London (or Schiphol Airport)
This is where you say goodbye to the group. If you're heading home, there's a transfer to Schiphol Airport by about 10am. For those continuing to London, you'll head south to Calais, cross from France to England, and arrive in London to start the next part of your trip.
