Cortina
You'll arrive in Cortina d'Ampezzo, the legendary ski resort that hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics. After settling in, you'll collect your bikes and all equipment needed for the week. Cortina to Dobbiaco
This morning you'll cycle from Cortina through beautiful forests on a rail-to-trails path, passing small mountain lakes along the way. The route climbs gently to Cimabanche Pass where you'll get views of the iconic Three Peaks. From there it's a descent into Dobbiaco in Val Pusteria. The full ride covers about 34 km with 361 m of climbing.

Dobbiaco
You have flexibility today to cycle along the scenic Drava cycle path toward Austria at your own pace. Two options are available: take the shorter 87 km route with 830 m ascent, or if you're feeling stronger, the longer 145 km route with 2,097 m ascent. Either way, you'll return to Dobbiaco by bike, or you can take the train back with your bike at the end of the day if needed.

Dobbiaco to Bruneck
Starting this morning, you'll cycle through one of the Dolomites' most important valleys into the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige. Gentle cycle paths lead you to Bruneck, a charming Alpine town that features two castles, historic town gates, and traditional Alpine architecture. This route covers approximately 50 km with 575 m of climbing.

Bruneck to Brixen
You'll cycle west then south onto the Brenner Pass cycle path, descending through the Eisack Valley. Along the way you'll visit the impressive 12th-century Neustift monastery, formerly Tyrol's largest and still active today, where there's an opportunity for wine tasting at the vineyard. Continuing on, you'll reach Brixen, the oldest town in the province, with its picturesque historic old town to explore. The day's ride is about 45 km with 575 m of ascent.

You'll arrive in Bolzano, South Tyrol's vibrant capital, where you can explore the bustling city center and market. The ride covers approximately 43 km with 224 m of climbing.

You have a flexible day in Bolzano with several options to choose from. Another option is to take the train to nearby Vinschgau valley, or a taxi to Lake Kaltern for wine tasting and relaxation. If you do cycle to Lake Caldaro, that's about 38 km with 441 m of climbing.
