Itinerary
- Day 1
Catania
You'll arrive at your hotel in Catania whenever suits your schedule. Get settled into your room, then grab dinner somewhere nearby at whatever time feels right. Spend a quiet evening at the hotel to recover from travel.

- Day 2
Noto - Ragusa
After breakfast, you'll head to Syracuse to walk through the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, where you can see the Greek Theatre and explore the Ear of Dionysius. The island of Ortigia comes next with its Cathedral and Arethusa's Fountain, plus time to find lunch on your own. Later in the afternoon, you'll travel to Noto to check out the Baroque architecture and Palazzo Nicolaci Villadorata. From there, continue to Ragusa for dinner and your overnight stay.

- Day 3
Modica - Piazza Armerina - Agrigento
Start in Ragusa Ibla, the UNESCO-protected heart of Sicilian Baroque with over 50 churches and the Cathedral at Dome Square, then explore the Giardino Ibleo gardens. You'll move on to Modica for a chocolate tasting at Sabadì. Lunch happens in the Orti di San Giorgio gardens with local food specialties. Next, visit Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina to see the Roman mosaics before heading to Agrigento for dinner and an overnight stay.

Marsala - Palermo
This morning you'll explore Agrigento's Valley of the Temples, where the 5th-century Doric temples sit among almond trees. Then travel to Marsala for a walk through the city center and a guided tour of the historic Florio Cellars with the barrel chambers. You'll have a light lunch and wine tasting, then drive along the Salt Road before heading to Palermo for the night.

By lunch you'll try typical local food, then check out the Teatro Massimo and Pretoria Fountain in the Kalsa area. The evening is free for you to explore on your own.

Cefalu - Catania
After breakfast, you'll travel to Cefalù, a medieval town on Sicily's north coast. Explore the Norman Cathedral there and have free time to wander the streets or visit the Mandralisca Museum. Lunch is at a local restaurant, then head back to Catania to walk through the UNESCO-listed historic center with its Baroque architecture and black lava stone. You'll go from Duomo Square past the Liotru elephant symbol, through University Square and Via dei Crociferi, and visit S. Benedict Monastery. Stop for granita and brioche at a historic bar, and the rest of the day is yours to spend however you like.

- Day 7
Mount Etna - Taormina - Catania
You'll check out Catania's pescheria fish market first, then travel to Mount Etna, Europe's highest volcano at roughly 3,350 metres. Head to Rifugio Sapienza to walk around the Crateri Silvestri volcanic cones with views across Sicily, the Aeolian Islands, and Calabria. Try local homemade honey and regional specialties before lunch. Later, continue to Taormina to see the Greek theatre with views over Giardini Naxos Bay and Mount Etna. You'll have free time to wander the medieval streets, shop for local handicrafts, or just soak in the atmosphere before returning to Catania.

Catania to Valletta (Malta)
After breakfast, you'll have free time to explore Catania however you want before your private transfer to the airport for a direct flight to Malta. A private transfer picks you up upon landing and takes you to your hotel in San Giljan, St Julian's, or St Paul's Bay. Your tour leader doesn't travel with you to Malta, so you'll do guided sightseeing with local guides instead.

Malta Optional Excursions
You have two full-day options to choose from. Option 1 takes you to The Three Cities (Senglea, Vittoriosa, Cospicua) to learn about Malta's military history, then to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk with traditional boats and its market, a boat trip to the Blue Grotto, and through Dingli. Option 2 is a Maltese Archipelago Adventure starting with a mini-cruise from Bugibba to Comino's Blue Lagoon, then to Gozo to see Ta'Pinu, Dwejra, and Victoria with its Citadelle, circle around Comino to visit famous caves, and return to Bugibba.

Valletta and Mdina
A half-day excursion takes you to Valletta, Malta's capital. You'll visit Casa Rocca Piccola, a 16th-century palace that's still the private residence of Maltese nobility. See St. John's Co-Cathedral to look at Caravaggio's 'The Beheading of St. John the Baptist' and enjoy views from the Upper Barrakka Gardens over the harbor. Check out the Grand Master's Palace, now home to the Maltese Parliament. After, head to Mdina to visit the Cathedral of St. Paul with time to walk around its charming streets and see scenic views. You're back at the hotel by afternoon with free time.
