Asked on November 25th, 2025We want to book a adventurous trip in Columbia during our travels in the Caribbean, in total we have a holiday planned for 6 weeks in total. This means we travel with one big suitcase. Is it possible to leave that suitcase at the hotel where they would safekeep it during the hike and we can pick it up on return. When we book we would like to arrive a day earlier and check out the city. Could you provide us with that as well? Or a day later if thats a better option. Please let us know your recommendations.

The physical rating of this tour is 5 out of 5. The challenge is not so much the altitude but the heat and humidity of the jungle. Hiking days are between 4-6 hours a day, and the highest altitude reached is 1,200 m (3,937 ft) at the Lost City itself. The humidity and the heat makes the trek challenging. Throughout the year the temperature is generally between 35-45 degrees C, and there can be heavy rain and muddy conditions.
