- Day 1
Arrival at Lake Tegernsee
Your cycling adventure in the Bavarian Alps starts here. Head to Lake Tegernsee either by car or train to begin. Once you arrive, you'll get settled and prepared for the ride ahead. The region offers gorgeous backdrops of the Alps, and you'll want to check out the lake area before hitting the trails tomorrow.

- Day 2
Kramsach
Start pedaling at Lake Tegernsee with the Bavarian Alps as your backdrop. You'll ride through Kreuth and past the wild Weißachau valley, then climb up toward Lake Achensee in Tyrol. The emerald water and Karwendel peaks come into view as you continue. After that, you'll descend into Inntal valley and reach Kramsach by evening, covering some solid elevation today.

Fieberbrunn
From Kramsach, cycle along the Inn River toward the impressive Kundl Gorge. You'll pass through the Brixental valley next, stopping in Hopfgarten before heading to Kitzbühel, a well-known mountain town. The route continues to St. Johann in Tirol with views of Wilder Kaiser peaks, and you'll finish in Fieberbrunn located in the Kitzbühel Alps. It's a long day with varied terrain.

Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße
Starting in St. Johann in Tirol, you'll cycle through a quiet valley to Leogang. There's an option to check out the popular bike park with spectator jumps, or if you prefer hiking, the Jakobskreuz summit cross offers alpine views. After that, continue pedaling to Zell am See on its clear lake, then ride into Fusch Valley. You'll reach Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße by day's end, which sits at the gateway to the High Alpine Road.

Obervellach
Today you'll use a shuttle service to transport you and your bike up to Fuscher Törl or Hochtor at over 2,500 meters. The views of Großglockner, Austria's highest mountain, are incredible from up there. Then you'll descend through the wild Mölltal valley passing alpine meadows and mountain streams. Heiligenblut appears with its famous tall church, and you'll keep going to Obervellach by evening.

Villach
Cycle from Obervellach using the well-maintained Alpe-Adria Cycle Path through the scenic Drau Valley. You'll ride past lush meadows and small villages with mountain ranges surrounding you. There's a choice to detour to Lake Millstätter See if you want, or stick to the main route past historic Spittal an der Drau and its Renaissance Porcia Castle. Finish in Villach by afternoon or early evening.

- Day 7
Lake Bled
Head south from Villach on the Alpe-Adria Cycle Path following the Gail river through green valleys toward the Italian border. You'll reach Tarvisio with its Mediterranean character, then cross into Slovenia past dense forests through the Julian Alps. Visit the impressive ski jumping arena at Planica, then continue to Kranjska Gora resort. Ride through the idyllic Radovna Valley in Triglav National Park where you'll see emerald springs at Zelenci. End at Lake Bled with its famous island church and lakeside castle.

Departure or Extension
You'll depart individually from Lake Bled, or if you prefer, you can arrange an extension to your tour to explore more of the region. This gives you flexibility to head home or continue cycling in the area depending on your schedule and interests.
