Domestic flight Luanda-Lubango/Namibe-Luanda are not included in the price (ca. 300-350 EUR). Very good idea to arrive a day before the tour starts - it give the best start. We will know the name of the hotel a month before the tour starts or earlier.

The best time to visit Angola is during the dry season, which runs from May to October. Many of the destinations in Angola are safe to visit with an experienced local guide or tour operator. We always keep up to date with local security developments and adapt the routes accordingly to ensure your safety. We use standard hotels and guest houses (rooms with private facilities and breakfast). Expect to spend some time traveling between locations, especially outside Luanda. Some highlights are separated by long drives (5–7 hours) or domestic flights.

Could you please confirm whether the tour is going ahead. Also how many people have confirmed so far? If I am reading your website correctly there will only be a dedicated tour guide if there are 8 people - is this correct? Also, do you have any photos of the accommodation?

We highly doubt the tour is suitable for 89 years old traveller. There is a lot of off-road driving, some long days 8-9 hours on the road, which is exhausting. The travel pace is fast as we cover 3 regions of Angola within 8 days. If you really want to go there we can arrange a private tour for you on a selected date.

Angola is definitely an off the beaten track destination that does not disappoint. The itinerary was jam packed and Martha was an excellent guide. The tribes are incredible we were taken to many local markets to meet indigenous people from different groups as well as villages. Landscapes were breath taking and the waterfalls of course were one of the many highlights. I recommend this trip for people who like non touristed places and definitely think it’s a good time to go before it gets too discovered.Show more

  We recently returned from a trip to Tajikistan with long journeys on difficult mountain roads and it was OK for him. His only difficulties is a lot of walking or climbing, but I understand that is not required on this trip.
