We cannot guarantee specific options for vegetarian or vegan meals, but I was given a sample of options offered on the ship. Breakfast: soy meatballs, vegetarian frittata, bean stew, vegan sausage, cauliflower goulash, jackfruit pulled pork, grilled squash. Snack: mushroom and tofu skewers, cassava and avocado causa, grilled watermelon, seasonal vegetable spring rolls. Lunch: Pasta w/ pesto or pomodoro, vegetable soup, chop suey, vegan shrimp in coconut sauce, vegan chili, fried yuca, potato locro, vegan frittata, jackfruit burger. First and foremost the guide we had was so great Jaime Lenin was such a joy to tour with! He bent over backwards to make certain we were having a great time. He made himself available for questions and advice whenever we needed it. I deal with a ot of Arthritic pain, he made sure I was comfortable, but also encouraged me to push through my pain to ensure I saw the best parts of the tour, especially Machu Picchu - some days I can’t walk 100 meters, but with Jaime’s support and guidance, I was able to walk through and see the whole of the incredible Inca site. That day, with Jaime’s support and guidance I walked 8.4 kilometers - I haven’t been able to do that in years! He was so great!Show more
