You'll meet your Travel Director and board the Eurostar from London's St. Pancras Station, traveling through the Channel Tunnel to Brussels. From there, you'll drive to Amsterdam where a welcome reception kicks things off with a canal cruise through the Old City. After exploring the waterways, dinner with wine follows at a local restaurant.

Later, you'll head to Heidelberg for a guided walk with a local expert through the cobbled lanes and old quarter.

By evening, you'll arrive in Venice for dinner with your Travel Director and fellow travelers.

Venice

The rest of your day is free to wander around, with an option to cruise to Burano island for local food.

You'll travel through the Apennine Mountains and landscapes of Tuscany and Umbria, following the Tiber River toward Rome. Once there, you'll sit down for a home-cooked meal prepared by your local host, experiencing firsthand how food and family connect in Italian culture.

- Day 7
Rome
A local expert leads you through the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel frescoes in the morning. Then you'll visit St. Peter's Basilica, one of the world's largest churches. After crossing the Tiber, you'll see the Colosseum, Rome's largest amphitheater. The day finishes with exclusive after-hours access to the Basilica of Saint Praxedes and its Byzantine mosaics.

Dinner comes at an authentic local trattoria.

From the summit, you can walk scenic trails spotting marmots and listen to a conservation talk from a Swiss ranger. Later, you'll continue to lakeside Lucerne with the afternoon at your own pace.
