You'll arrive at Madurai or Trichy Airport and head to your heritage hotel in Kannadugathan. After settling in, there's a welcome lunch waiting for you, and then Chef Ashwin leads an interactive cooking session where you'll learn how to prepare traditional Chettinad dishes. Later in the evening, you'll head out for a picnic at Thirumayam Fort and Sathiyamurthi Temple. Back at the hotel, a fortune-teller performs Killi Josiyam, and the day wraps up with a plated Chettinad dinner.

Kannadugathan and Karaikudi
This morning starts with a guided 45-minute walking tour through Kannadugathan's Chettinad mansions, where you'll see intricate carved facades up close. You'll return for an international breakfast, then have leisure time at the hotel. After that, you head to Karaikudi to visit a heritage saree weaving studio, then walk through the local antique market and bazaar. There's time to sample traditional sweets and snacks before dinner, which you'll have at Lotus as a Chef's Table experience featuring Chettinad cuisine with Southeast Asian touches.

Departure

You'll explore the local village market before returning to the hotel for a farewell lunch with both local and international options. After lunch, you'll head to Madurai or Trichy Airport for your departure.
