The Trip exceeded our expectations. We were lucky to have Jeshin as our tour Guide. He was well informed and was pretty clear with setting expectations about our BasiX tour package. We got a true cultural experience that included travel within India on Private Bus, Trains, Tuk-Tuks, Ferry and State Transport Bus. We even rode an Elephant in Periyaar. With the right attitude and patience, this is a rewarding tour. The food was exquisite in most cities (you should explore local options). Jeshin gave us multiple options in most cities. We enjoyed Trivandram, Kochi, Varkala, Hampi & Mysore. Mysore Palace was so crowded due to the Dec Holidays, we probably should have skipped it. The Mysore Silk saree shopping and eating at Mylaree & 'Frosting' made up for it. Hotels and Homestays in most places was pretty good. I think Mysore was probably the only bad one since there were so many choices, Interpid could do better. Hotel in Hampi was the best. The only complaint we have is regarding the Periyaar Sanctuary. That day could have been planned better by Intrepid. If they had made advance reservations when we were in Varkala, we would have been able to do the Govt Jungle Trips as opposed to private outside the Jungle trips. We didnt have any tickets left, by the time we reached Periyaar. We did d teh Kerala Martial arts, which was good, but left a sore spot about missing the jungle trek. Overall a really nicely planned tour and well worth its shoe string budget cost. Enjoy!!! we did :)

Overall you provided good transport & Hotels . Excellent guides at Munnar Tea Plantations and other sites. Our only disappointed was a non English speaking driver who couldn’t arrange tea or toilet breaks unless we requested , However didn’t spoil a fantastic experience, thank you

"I haven't yet been on this tour which I signed up for four weeks ago. Payment is due tomorrow or the holiday will be cancelled but despite multiple contacts with them by chat or email they have been unable to confirm extra pre departure dates in Chennai. I put this down to local chaos or apparent incompetence. It looks as though I could book this hotel for the dates I want in 2 minutes online but I want the joined up experience with Intrepid. I travelled with them twice last year, including to India, and they were brilliant.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, We had a very nice "South India's Temples with Kerala" tour. We liked the variety. The first half of the trip was dedicated to the temples of South India, the second half more to nature. We were more than surprised by the very "chaotic" traffic conditions. However, we felt very safe with our driver. He got us safely through this chaos and looked after our "safety" like a bodyguard. It was also advantageous that our tour group consisted of only four people. Thanks to the organizers, we were able to experience this trip together with friends.

"This tour was a dream come true! The hotels were comfortable, and the guides were very informative and friendly. The backwaters of Kumarakom were unforgettable experience. Every day we enjoy a different experience about the South India culture.
