The distance and time for travel between Cochin Hotel and Airport takes 01 Hour drive time due to distance and traffic conditions. No matter at what time is your departure our driver will drop you accordingly.

Please could you advise if the houseboat and cabins have aircon?

Is it possible to be picked up from the airport this late? Or would it be better to arrive in Kochi on 15/11 (arranging my own accommodation for 1 night) and commence your tour 16/11.

Yes we will arrange pickup if you arrive at 10:40 PM at Night. Generally No sightseeing's are covered on Day 01 of arrival so there is no issues if you arrive at Night. You can book the trip and can secure the seats.

I would like to know if there are already other people booked for this tour in the same dates since I would like not to do this tour alone.

Right now no one has booked the tour yet, but as per previous financial year we received many bookings in August and September travel dates. As your travel dates are in September so that doesn't mean from July till September no one will book the tours, even last minute bookings also we get, and booking at last minutes will be risky as there are limited seats.

Can’t recommend this tour. If you are a solo traveller you will most likely be on your own during the tour as they depart on any day even if only 1 person. The comfort of the taxi was not at all comfortable for a tour with 4+ hours of travel each day. Because it’s a quick stop tour of main tourist spots you are always on the go so little time to relax. And lots of winding roads which were quite nauseating. Hotel choices aren’t great for meeting other people. Spent 3 evenings eating alone in hotel restaurants, as the only person there. The first hotel in kochi was miles away from the tourist neighbourhood, was due to be there on my last night but managed to get it swapped to fort kochi which they did sort thankfully. Other than that unable to explore the local areas at night due to location. Very lonely experience in that respect. The backwater cruise was a real let down, on a boat with 20+ others, mostly young couples on their honeymoon, so not much chance to mix with people, and the outside space was 5 chairs wide and less then a meter in depth, felt very cheated by that. The boat also kept stopping to upsell other activities, which I took advantage of, only to be outside though, would have been annoying otherwise, the smaller boat round the narrow waterways was lovely and helped save the backwater experience, but you had to pay extra. Then it parked up for the night back at the harbour it departed from with a quick hour out during breakfast. Not great. I expected a bit more from munnar and thekady too. Went to a tea museum in munnar but that’s all you get. Luckily the views of the surrounding tea plantation fields are everywhere and they probably saved this trip from being a 1 star for me, as they are absolutely beautiful and out of this world, but the tour doesn’t allow for walking in them or absorbing their beauty at length, as there is so much driving to do. Thekady is a waste of time, very much a tourist trap, you don’t get to see a spice plantation, just a small garden of plants where guides take you round telling you what each plant does so they can sell you expensive supplements in their shop. It was like a conveyor belt of tourists, which the munnar tea museum was too. All in all if feels like Kerala is over saturated with tourists and any way anyone can make money from tourists they will, at the expense of authenticity. I guess it’s a victim of its success. If I were to visit Kerala again I would do it myself, stay longer in Munnar to soak it up, as the mountains were my highlight, stay at places near to a bit of life so I can explore the area. Also for Alleppey it would be better to find a boat for small amounts of of people with more outside space, it’s very over populated on the water but the people on smaller boats looked to be having a much better time. The Kathakali cultural experiences were good btw especially in fort kochi. Overall the tour was too fast paced in places to enjoy, and discussion of itinerary with the driver was difficult at times due to language barrier. It would be good to have a fixed itinerary that works to avoid confusion. The tour of fort kochi was good but it was meant to be at the end of the tour, but was swapped to the first day with no explanation and then this impacted other order of activities which was annoying, especially as internet is bad on the road to contact the agent to find things out, and with communication not always being the easiest with the driver regarding arrangements, it meant I didn’t always feel like I knew what was going on, and just generally it was quite a lonely experience. In summary, I would not do this tour again, you can find better accommodation and better pace doing it yourself. Kerala is very touristy, and there are so many tourist traps, so avoiding peak times for things is a tip. And having my own itinerary would have been better as I would have been in control, and could have found restaurants or hotels with more chance of meeting people. Not good value for money and not amazing. Sorry. Left me feeling ripped off. Save yourself. This tour needs to be completely revised.Show more

This was a great tour if you’re short on time and want to see as much of Kerala as possible without having to work too hard. Our driver Basil definitely earnt his money driving many miles around Kerala everyday. He was quiet but looked after us well. It can be strangely exhausting sitting in the car for many hours so that’s something to bear in mind regarding this tour but I personally thought it was worth it to get to see such amazing sites. What impressed me most was the smooth coordination at every stop — we didn't have to worry about a single thing. Our driver, Neeraj, was patient, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable about local spots and traditions. Vaccines

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 22nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 22nd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Memorable India Journeys. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Memorable India Journeys will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Memorable India Journeys" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Memorable India Journeys. Please familiarize yourself with the Memorable India Journeys payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
