Memorable India crafted a perfect Kerala itinerary for us, starting in the charming streets of Fort Kochi. Hari, our driver, was excellent — always early, always smiling, and full of tips on local food spots. The highlights included tea plantations in Munnar, a spice plantation walk in Periyar, and a magical overnight houseboat in Alleppey. The hotels were top-notch and full of character. If you want to see Kerala in comfort and style, this is the way to do it.
Amazing Kerala Tour from Cochin - 6 DaysThis was the second tour whilst in India with same tour company. The itinerary was well planned and thought out with the length of nights in each particular place. Hotels were the standard you would expect for 3 stars although breakfast in some was a little below average. We ended up with no one else booked so ended up being a private tour. The driver Umesh was a safe responsible driver in the very busy chaos and had some big days driving with traffic delays. Communication through World Travel Experiences was very good throughout entire time in India, constantly checking in via WhatsApp that things were going well. Such a great experience from booking trip to the drop off at the end!
Exotic Kerala Tour (Coconut Holiday Of India)Having spent our previous week up north in the Golden Triangle with a similar guided trip through a different tour company, where we got bottled water, we were expecting a similar experience. Unfortunately, our first driver, Robert, arrived nearly 45 minutes late to collect us and spoke very little English, to the extent that we had to call the office and arrange for them to provide a new driver, Georgy, for the remainder of the trip.The itinerary was busy, but we were able to adapt it where we wanted. Sadly, no water was included, and the car's air conditioning wasn't great, but it was a good value trip with so much to see. Eravikulam National Park was spectacular, as were the boat safari and jeep safari. However, we didn't like the elephant sanctuary where the elephants were chained up to behave just for the benefit of tourists. Give that one a miss if you are not a fan of animal cruelty. The Kathakali dance show and Kalaripayattu martial arts show were brilliant. We chose the 4-star hotels, and both were excellent, particularly the Peppervine in Thekkady. Finishing up with the private houseboat tour was a lovely way to end our epic Indian adventure.Overall, it's a good way to experience a lot of Kerala in a safe and good value way.
