- Day 1
Neiva to Tatacoa Desert
You'll start with a round-trip transfer from Neiva heading out to the Tatacoa Desert. Once there, you can walk the Cuzco and Los Hoyos trails to see the desert's unusual rock formations and learn how the local ecosystem works. When the sun sets, head to the observatory where you'll spend the evening stargazing. The sky here is particularly clear, so you'll get good telescope views and hear stories about the constellations above.

San Agustín
You're visiting an organic coffee farm near San Agustín to see how coffee actually gets made, starting from the seeds and planting all the way through to the finished product. Your guide is Luis Alejandro, who owns Finca La Cabaña and has been running the operation for over 50 years following his father's original work. By the end, you'll taste some of Luis's specialty coffees to wrap up the tour.

San Agustín Archaeological Park
You'll walk through the San Agustín Archaeological Park to see the statues and ancient tombs scattered across the green landscape. Later, you head to the Magdalena Strait, which is where the river gets its narrowest, and then into the town of Obando. There's a local museum with pre-Columbian tombs and artifacts, including a replica of the famous Winged Fish gold piece that shows the region's archaeological significance.

Popayán
You'll take a guided walk through Popayán's colonial center, which has been preserved really well. The city gets called the 'White City' for a reason, and it has UNESCO recognition for both its Holy Week processions and the food scene. Walking around, you'll see the architecture and feel the cultural energy throughout the streets and plazas.

Silvia
You're spending time with the Guambiano-Misak community in Silvia, visiting their cultural center and medicinal gardens. Local hosts will show you how they practice traditional healing and explain their way of life. The visit supports community development, and from there you'll also see the Andean landscape that surrounds the area.

Landmarks Silvia - Day 6
Popayán to Airport
At a local farm near Popayán, you'll work hands-on making empanadas and tamales de pipián, a traditional dish that's important to southern Colombian cooking because of its flavor and cultural meaning. You'll cook in a rural setting that supports local sustainability practices. After you're done cooking and eating what you've made, you'll transfer to Popayán airport to finish the tour.
