When and where does the tour end?

After a day of amazing experiences in western Iceland where you will see Borgarfjörður, Deildartunguhver hot spring, Barnafoss waterfall, Hraunfossar cascade and much more, the tour arrives back into Reykjavík City Centre at approximately 5-6 pm. It's time to say farewell to your newfound friends and continue your travels! Please be aware that the drop-off point is subject to change until your final documents are released.

This tour departs Reykjavík City Centre at 8 am on the first day of the tour and you will then start off by experiencing the world-famous Golden Circle. Due to the early start, we recommend arriving at least one day prior to the tour, so you have time to settle in, relax and make sure you don't miss the bus! Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.

That being said, on this tour around Iceland, you'll be staying at various country hotels and guesthouses. The tour operator has hand-picked a selection of accommodation places, where the main priority is booking comfortable places in locations which suit the carefully planned itinerary. As there is a limited range of hotels and guesthouses in the countryside, some might be located in or close to towns and villages but others could be situated in more remote areas out in the countryside. Daily breakfast buffets at the hotels are included in the tour price, as well as towels and free WiFi.

Despite how badly things started, our tour turned out to be excellent. First of all we were told we were getting a voucher for the airport bus pick up and never received it in the email. Fortunately, our name was on a list and the Fly bus people graciously gave us tickets without the voucher. Then when we went to join our Bamba Experience tour at the bus stop, there was no Bamba Experience tour bus. Apparently, Bamba transferred our seats to another tour operator who was leading a tour of combined Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and English tourists and didn't bother to tell us. Fortunately for us, the tour leader didn't leave without us and called out our names eventually. Our tour company was listed as miscellaneous on his sheet of customers. It was little bit annoying that instead of the English speaking tour leader we were promised, we got consecutive translations, often getting the English part after whatever was being described was long gone. However, the tour leader was very knowledgeable and although it was difficult to communicate with the other members of the tour at times, we did manage to share experiences and stories as best we could. The tour locations were magnificent but we had one other complaint. This tour was listed as being suitable for ages 18 to 99 but I doubt whether many older people could have managed.Show more

We had a wonderful trip to Malta. Everything went smoothy. We did so many things and experienced so many things. I think my favorite tour was the walking tour of Valletta. Karl, our tour guide was the best. He kept it interesting and was very knowledgeable. I liked that there were only 11 people on the tour. We could easily stay together and hear Karl. I liked the other tours that left early. Traffic in Malta is a nightmare. It was good to get out early and have less traffic problems. Our Ivy Hotel was great. It was at a good location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our Airport pick up and drop off came early and received our stress on the travel days. All together we had a wonderful visit to Malta.
