Prepare approximately EUR 300 for meals not included and ensure access to emergency funds of about US$500 for unforeseen changes in the itinerary.

What is the cost of a single supplement on your tours?

Unfortunately, an own room option is unavailable for this tour.

Could you kindly advise if you have availability for 1 traveler for the departure on September 7th? Could you also advise if the single supplement is mandatory for a solo traveler?

We do still have availability on our 07SEP2024 departure. For our solo travelers they do have the option are sharing with another solo traveler of the same gender at no additional cost. I will note that these are very small sail boats so the bed configurations will be very close, a lot of the times you will be right next to the person with a divider between you or maybe a sheet.

How often are shower and restroom facilities cleaned during the tour?

The cleaning frequency is maintained regularly to ensure hygiene and comfort for all travelers.

Is this appropriate for me? I'm a young 62 year old woman traveling on my own.

We were on a boat - Omega Kiss which had mosquitos on board which had access to our compartments. Interior paneling that allowed us to see in our neighbors compartment. Trash in bathroom not being picked up , need for pans and utensils in kitchen - our door knob kept falling off. The Captain could care less about providing a trip that we were comfortable with -He was In a hurry to get to the next port- only sailed for several hours even though we had fantastic opportunities to sail our last days. Would motor to our final ports without stopping to swim and have lunch just so he could get off the boat. Tour Radar attempted to add charges after our final contract and would not let us cancel what we knew was bound to be an awkward affair . Our departure price was reduced and Intrepid should honor their lowest price guarantee . Not a good experience at all - Intrepid promised the moon and didn't at all deliver. really regret having anything to do with trip - felt cheated and overcharged.Show more

This is the first time I have been on a sailing boat.The skipper Ante put me at ease and was thorough with the safety information to reassure all of us.When I was feeling sick Ante encouraged me to take the wheel and to focus on where we were heading to take my mind off the sick feeling.The group of people we were with were fantastic and we worked really well as a team.Ante was a fantastic host taking us to places and making recommendations throughout the trip which were always top notch and worth the time and effort.Antes recommendations added to the trip and allowed us to experience more of Croatia than just 'seeing the sights'.Being half Croatian (born in Australia) Ante encouraged me and allowed me to see more of the Croatia that my Grandmother grew up in.I will be forever grateful that we had such a fantastic and informative skipper who made this sailing trip one of the best times of my life.Thank you Ante, I wont ever forget you or this trip.Show more

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
