    We do not have any dates earlier due to the public holidays in South Korea that occur at the beginning of the month. The public holidays can result in closures or disruptions to our standard itinerary.
    
    Alternatively, we have an earlier departure in April - 18-April to 27-April.

    You have the option to share with 1 other traveller of the same gender throughout the tour. However, if you do not fancy sharing a room, we offer a Single Room Upgrade. This upgrade applies throughout the full tour and gives you a bit more privacy and comfort! The room upgrade is priced at £1,150 GBP.

  I need a visa, and in order to apply for it, I need a booking confirmation. If I book the tour but then don't receive the visa, will I get my money back? What would the cancellation fee be? For example, if I book within the next few days and, in the worst-case scenario, receive a visa rejection around 14–18 September, how much would I have to pay as a cancellation fee?

    As you are looking to book the tour within 70-days before the tour departs, we require full payment. According to our T&Cs, if you cancel within 70-days, you would forfeit the full payment. All payments are non-refundable. Note: If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy, you may be able to claim these charges back directly with your insurance provider. 71 days or more before departure date - loss of deposit. 70 to 0 days before departure date - loss of full payment. While we can't guarantee the outcome of any visa application, we will do our best to support you by providing any documentation required for the process.

  I'm a lacto-vegetarian. I don't eat meat, fish, seafood or eggs, but dairy is okay. I also don't consume alcohol and would need to avoid alcohol as an ingredient in food. Can you accommodate this throughout the tour?

    Being lacto-vegetarian (vegetarian but consuming dairy products) in South Korea is definitely possible, but you will need to be prepared to double check ingredients in dishes before ordering, as some dishes that appear vegetarian often contain fish sauce, anchovy broth, shrimp paste, or meat-based stock.
    
    We always inform our Adventure Leaders our travellers dietary requirements in advance to joining the tour, so that they can recommend suitable restaurants, help explain dietary requirements to the restaurant staff and suggest dishes that are more likely to meet your needs.
    
    Seoul, Busan and Jeju have dedicated vegetarian and vegan restaurants, plus international dining options. During the visit to the Temple Stay in Gyeongju, all the food will be vegetarian.
    
    If you don't drink alcohol, that's absolutely no problem. While there may be opportunities for the group to enjoy local drinks or visit bars during free time, there is never any expectation or requirement to participate. Many travellers choose not to drink, and you will still be able to enjoy all aspects of the tour and social activities.

    The tour includes transportation from Jeju to Seoul on Day 10. Would it be possible to change this to transportation from Jeju to Tokyo instead? I would make my own plans in Tokyo and then return to Seoul on my own. If this is possible, would there be an extra cost or any other changes to the booking?

    We can ask our team if it would be possible to change the flight to Jeju to Tokyo instead. You would need to pay the price difference for this flight change.
    
    If the team are not able to book this for you, we can instead offer a refund for the cost of the Jeju-Seoul flight and you would be able to book the flight to Tokyo for yourself instead.
    
    It is also worth noting that some flights from Jeju may stop in Busan or Seoul before heading to Tokyo, so you might want to look at the options first and then let us know what would work best for your travel plans.

    On Day 10 (November 7), you're expected to arrive in Seoul Gimpo Airport before 1pm.
    
    If you are flying out the same day from Incheon Airport, you can take a metro from Gimpo Airport to Incheon Airport which takes about 35 mins. Or we can help to arrange airport transfer with additional fee.

    The single, private room is available to book. What you will need to do is, under section 2 "select accommodation", first change the drop down menu from 1 traveller to 0 travellers in the "twin room (shared") row. This should then allow you to select the single room upgrade option.

    For our 8 October 2026 Korea Premium departure, we currently have a lovely mix of travellers already booked. At the moment, the group has 11 other participants from: Australia, UK, and the USA.
    
    In terms of age, it's a very broad mix, which is quite typical for our Premium tours. The current bookings range from 23 to 72 years old, with many travellers in their 50s, 60s and early 70s. We have several guests in their 60s and 70s already booked.
    
    At the moment, this departure is shaping up to be a really nice mix of nationalities and ages, which usually makes for a great group dynamic.

    Option 1: Triple room during the tour, the additional cost is $475.00 AUD:
    
    • Seoul/Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Myeongdong: A Triple room (2 queen beds)
    • Gyeongju/Hwangnamkwan Hanok: A Triple room (3 futons, sleeping on the floor)
    • Busan/Ramada Encore Haeundae: A Triple room (1 double bed + 1 single bed)
    • Jeju/The Grand Sumorum: A Triple room (1 double bed + 1 single bed)
    
    Option 2: Using a triple room at 3 cities (Gyeongju, Busan, and Jeju), and 2 rooms at Seoul city. The additional cost is $60.00 AUD:
    
    • Seoul/Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Myeongdong: 1 Double room + 1 Single room (2 rooms)

    This 10-day Tour is a great option, however it is a group tour, so you would be travelling with other people. Would you be open to a group tour? We can arrange the following room types: 1 twin room (2 people per room) 1 single room (1 person per room) or 1 twin room (2 people per room) 1 twin room (1 person shares with another person from the tour). The trip price includes all the accommodation and transportation within the tour, guiding and most of the activities. The hotels used in this tour are 4 star and are clean, comfortable and well located.

  Can I combine a tour with a BTS concert experience?

    BTS are due to return to South Korea this June for a couple of concerts in Busan. They will be performing on both the 12-June & 13-June. We have tours departing Seoul on the following dates: 04-June to 13-June, 11-June to 20-June, 25-June to 04-July. Depending on if you have tickets to see them perform, you may just want to experience the hype around them being in Busan and the energy it will bring to the city. K-Pop is very present in the day-to-day life of Korea, with posters of idols on every cafe, shop and restaurant around the cities, with special events that pop up due to bigger events happening.
