Dear Miss Trieste. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed South Korea itself and that you had a good group of fellow travellers around you during the trip. It's clear that some aspects of the tour didn't align with your personal expectations of what a premium experience should look like. Our Premium Korea tour is designed around smaller groups than our standard departures, upgraded accommodation, included experiences and transport, and a more comfortable style of travel. However, we appreciate that travellers can have different views on group size, pace and the balance between organised activities and independent exploration. Regarding the itinerary, Korea is a surprisingly diverse country and our aim is to showcase as much of it as possible within the time available. While many travellers enjoy the variety and pace this creates, we recognise that others would prefer longer stays in certain destinations, particularly places such as Jeju. We're also grateful for your comments about your Adventure Leader. Whilst we're sorry to hear he didn't fully meet your expectations, we're pleased you recognised his organisation, professionalism and commitment to supporting the group throughout the trip. Feedback on specific experiences such as the Busan sailing trip and the island boat excursion is equally valuable, and we'll be sharing this with our local team as we continuously review and refine our itineraries. Thank you again for travelling with us. While we're sorry the tour wasn't the right fit for your travel style, we appreciate the balanced feedback and wish you all the best with your future travels.

Thank you for the review, Anne! We're really pleased to hear you enjoyed the pace of the tour. We aim to strike a balance between showing travellers the highlights of South Korea and giving them enough free time to explore independently, so it's great to hear that worked well for you. Thanks for travelling with us and we hope to welcome you on another Dragon Trip soon!

Dear Linda Thank you for the review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour. South Korea has so much to offer, and one of our goals is to help travellers experience as much of the country's culture, food, history and landscapes as possible in a relatively short space of time. Thanks for travelling with us, and we hope to see you on another adventure in the future!

Dear Fiona, Thank you for the lovely review. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour and felt it provided a great introduction to South Korea. We designed the itinerary to showcase as much of the country as possible within a relatively short timeframe, whilst still allowing travellers to experience a mix of cities, culture, food and nature. It's also really helpful to hear your feedback on Jeju. You're certainly not the first traveller to wish they had more time there. The island has so much to offer that many guests leave wanting an extra few days to explore at a slower pace. We're always reviewing our itineraries based on traveller feedback, and suggestions such as longer stays or optional extensions are exactly the sort of ideas we consider when developing future tours. Thank you again for travelling with us, and we're pleased you had such a positive experience exploring Korea with us.

Dear Debbie, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We're really pleased to hear that one of the highlights of the trip was the group itself. The friendships and connections that form on our tours are often what guests remember most, so it's great to hear your group bonded so well. Our Premium Korea tours currently operate with a maximum of 18 travellers, and your departure ran close to that limit. Our average size for Premium Korea is 14, and this was a very popular departure date. We appreciate that some travellers prefer a smaller group experience and we'll certainly take your feedback on board as we continue look at adding more dates on top of our current volume of trips for next year. Thank you also for highlighting the efforts of your Adventure Leader. We're fortunate to work with local leaders who bring genuine passion, energy and first hand knowledge of their country. While English fluency can vary between individuals, we're pleased to hear that he worked hard to support the group and ensure everyone had a positive experience throughout the tour. In terms of the itinerary, our Premium tour has been designed to focus on upgraded accommodation, transport and experiences rather than simply adding additional days. That said, we understand that some travellers would prefer more free time or longer stays in certain destinations, particularly somewhere as unique as Jeju. We genuinely appreciate the constructive feedback regarding some of the premium touches you would have liked to see included. Feedback like this helps us refine and improve the experience for future travellers. Thank you again for travelling with us and we're glad that despite some aspects not fully meeting your expectations, you were able to enjoy Korea alongside such a great group of fellow travellers.

Can I combine a tour with a BTS concert experience?

    Tour Details
    • The Dragon TripOperatorWritten April 2026

BTS are due to return to South Korea this June for a couple of concerts in Busan. They will be performing on both the 12-June & 13-June. We have tours departing Seoul on the following dates: 04-June to 13-June, 11-June to 20-June, 25-June to 04-July. Depending on if you have tickets to see them perform, you may just want to experience the hype around them being in Busan and the energy it will bring to the city. K-Pop is very present in the day-to-day life of Korea, with posters of idols on every cafe, shop and restaurant around the cities, with special events that pop up due to bigger events happening.

I noticed a spa option - is this something you would book? Or is it onsite at the hotel or nearby?

    • The Dragon TripOperatorWritten March 2026

It's not compulsory for you to join the cycling. If you cannot bike, you can opt to explore the old town on foot independently. The old town is small and easy to navigate. Around 1.30hrs walk is enough to cover the main sights. Ask directions from your leader.

    • The Dragon TripOperatorWritten March 2026

The hotels will have A/C, but not all will have elevators.

    • The Dragon TripOperatorWritten March 2026

In terms of clothing, plan to pack for spring weather. So layers you can put on and take off, along with a raincoat.

    • The Dragon TripOperatorWritten March 2026

You can book the spa when you're on the ground in South Korea.

On day 10 what time does the flight arrive in Seoul from Jeju Island? & what airport will it be?

    Flights / Transfers
    • The Dragon TripOperatorWritten January 2026

On the final day of the tour, the Jeju to Seoul flight is usually booked for the morning and the group will arrive back in Seoul around 12/1pm. The flight will arrive at Gimpo Airport, which is around a 30-minute journey via the subway to Incheon International Airport, so we would recommend booking a return flight home that departs late afternoon/early evening. We can also arrange a transfer from Gimpo to Incheon Airport, if you do not fancy taking the train!

While we appreciate you're eager to bring your children along, this can only accommodate guests aged 18-75. The guests that book this trip do with so with the expectation that there will be no children on the trip. As an alternative option, you might be interested to join our Korea Family Adventure: 9 Days of Unforgettable Memories which can accommodate guests aged 7-70, with some flexibility.

September and October are very popular months to visit South Korea. The weather is cooler than the summer months, but still warm and dry. Thanks for getting in touch enquiry! It's great to hear you and your daughter are interested in joining our 10-Day Premium South Korea Adventure! I've attached the Tour Suitability Form to this conversation. If you could share as much information about her disability as possible, we'll do our best to accommodate her on the trip if we think it's possible to do so. Once you've completed the form, I'll pass it onto our operations team who will decide if they think the trip will be a good fit for her.
