Oaxaca
Spend your day in Oaxaca's markets, getting a sense of local life and the energy of the area. Tonight you'll try regional dishes like memelas, mole, and empanadas at dinner, all traditional to this region.

Oaxaca - Tehuantepec
After breakfast, you'll travel to a valley community where a local family shows you hand-weaving textiles using natural dyes and traditional looms. Next comes a mezcal distillery to see how they make the spirit, then you head to Tehuantepec for the night.

Tehuantepec - Sumidero Canyon - San Cristobal de las Casas
You'll take a boat through Sumidero Canyon, seeing waterfalls and jungle while keeping an eye out for monkeys and crocodiles. After that, you head up into the mountains to San Cristobal de las Casas for a short walking tour. There's an optional pottery class if you're interested.

A ferry takes you to Isla Holbox, a tropical island with beaches, clear water, and marine life. You'll have time to explore the relaxed village atmosphere, eat local food, catch the sunset, and dance at a beach bar if you're up for it.

Flores - Tikal
