Mohammed Ali – A fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge and a great sense of humor! During our Nile cruise in Egypt, we had the great pleasure of having Mohammed Ali as our guide. And what a wonderful man he is! Mohammed Ali truly knows an incredible amount about Egyptian history. Pharaohs, temples, kings, and gods: he spoke about them with such knowledge and enthusiasm that history really came to life. My girlfriend, in particular, was constantly hanging on his every word. She just couldn’t get enough of his stories and explanations! What made Mohammed Ali extra special was his pleasant personality. Friendly, easygoing, with a sense of humor, and always willing to answer our questions. Plus, he was always right on time and ready whenever we needed him. Everything went smoothly and naturally. The nice thing was that Mohammed Ali simply came along with us on the Nile cruise. Well, sort of… We knew he had to be somewhere on board and that he slept somewhere, but while we were sailing, he was sometimes almost as mysterious as the pharaohs he told us about! Exactly where he was hanging out remained a mystery to us. But as soon as we needed him, he was right there. Always on time, always well-prepared, and with a smile. We thoroughly enjoyed his guidance, his stories, and above all, him as a person. He gave our trip that little extra something that allows you not only to see beautiful temples but also to truly learn about Egypt’s extraordinary past.
