Can I just do the gondola and not the skywalk and is the snow one going in July

Yes once you submit the booking, we can add Banff Gondola Only for you. Normally we do not have snow on the road here in the Rockies in July.

What is the time of the dropoff in Vancouver at Hyatt Regency on day 5? We are traveling from Mount Vernon, WA and I am trying to assess the feasibility of returning there the same day or spending the night in Vancouver.

We will be back to Vancouver around 1930pm-2000pm on the last day, but this is subject to traffic conditions.

just looking at booking accomodatioon after the tour ends on 1st May 2026. We noticed pick-up has 4 choices and we are near the Hyatt Regency for pick up. Are we right in reading there is only 1 drop off point which is Richmond Yaohan Centre. We need to know this for booking accomodation.

However, if you prefer different pick-up and drop-off locations, you may select any one of the four available locations (either the same location for both or one of your preferred options). We will usually be back to Vancouver around 20PM and we have a drop off location at Hyatt Regency Vancouver Downtown.

As we are travelling from Sydney and stopping over in Canada before ending up in the UK how much luggage can we take? Is there a weight limit? I think we would need one large case each plus a small cabin sized one, again each.

For our Multiple Days Tour, each person is allowed one piece of checked luggage and one carry-on bag. The weight limits follow the airline's standard baggage policy.

The meeting time for this tour is 7:00 AM on the day of departure, and guests are required to make their own way to the designated meeting point. Based on our experience, if your cruise docks in Vancouver on May 18, it is likely too tight to catch the tour starting on the same day. Arrival, disembarkation, customs, and travel time to the meeting point may not allow enough time.

Guide was not confident in speaking English and told us on the first day that he wouldn’t be talking while driving . Plus he said he needs to concentrate on driving. I felt rushed from place to place n at one point he locked the van door with all the passengers in it (when he popped in to check the reservation) did he think we were going to run away, we asked to hop out n wait on the footpath . But no. Next minute he turned n locked the van with the remote. “We commented, did he just lock us in) The little commentary he did give in attractions no one could understand , so we gave up asking questions. While a nice fellow, I would not wish to go on another tour with him as a driver. Disappointing. The company on the bus made up for the tour guide, who really was just a driver. I hope others feedback reach you too as it was quite a discussion in the tour.Show more

Our guide Gary was a lovely person & was great , reliable & covered a lot of places- my only concern was his language- his English was lacking & sometimes hard to understand but also he did not impart much information to us in regards to the places or history or culture- when asked questions he was sometimes unsure of answers( I think due to language- not his knowledge) We had a small group so he was more flexible with us and we thoroughly enjoyed our adventures. Fantastic tour worth every penny and more ,saw the most amazing places , sights , lakes , mountains, waterfalls and wildlife . Bears , elk , moose golden eagle. Couldnt justify the cost of the "mountain train" as a solo traveller . For a 1/3rd of the price saw the same places,the same wildlife and geographical highlights ,in fact probably more. Big shout out to brilliant Bolan our knowledgeable guide, nothing was too much trouble. Made friends for life from across the globe.   Since your cruise docks at 7:00 AM on May 18, it is very unlikely that you would be able to make it to the tour in time, as the meeting time is 7:00 AM and disembarkation usually takes some time. You may want to consider flying directly to Calgary instead and joining one of our Rockies tours from there — this would give you much more flexibility and ensure you don't miss the departure. Another great option is our Rocky Mountaineer train tours. These depart from Vancouver and take you through beautiful scenery all the way to Banff, where you can then join our Rockies itinerary.
