    Asked on February 12th, 2026

just looking at booking accomodatioon after the tour ends on 1st May 2026. We noticed pick-up has 4 choices and we are near the Hyatt Regency for pick up. Are we right in reading there is only 1 drop off point which is Richmond Yaohan Centre. We need to know this for booking accomodation.

    Accommodation
    Transport
    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

Due to system limitations, only one pick-up and drop-off location can be selected when making the booking. However, if you prefer different pick-up and drop-off locations, you may select any one of the four available locations (either the same location for both or one of your preferred options). For example, you may choose pick-up and drop-off at Hyatt Regency Vancouver Downtown, or select a different drop-off point such as Richmond Yaohan Centre or Burnaby Crystal Mall. After submitting your booking, please send us a message to inform us of your preferred pick-up and drop-off locations, and we will arrange it accordingly.

Is there a shuttle available from the last hotel to the airport?

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

We normally do not know the specific hotel room types in advance, as accommodations are arranged by the hotel.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

For the first night, the tour will stay at Clearwater Best Western Plus Gateway to the Falls or a similar-level hotel. The exact hotel name is usually confirmed 3 days prior to departure, as it depends on the arrangement of the hotel group we work with.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

This tour does not include airport transfer.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

For this 5-day tour, if you join on May 11th and do a post-stay on May 15th, the additional cost is CAD$385 per double room per night.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

Yes, if you book a post-stay with us, we will drop you off at your hotel after the tour.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

For this 5-day tour, the last night is spent at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Vernon / Comfort Suites Kelowna, or a similar hotel. These locations are quite far from Vancouver, and there is no shuttle service from the hotel to Vancouver Airport.

    Asked on January 6th, 2026

As we are travelling from Sydney and stopping over in Canada before ending up in the UK how much luggage can we take? Is there a weight limit? I think we would need one large case each plus a small cabin sized one, again each.

    Flights / Transfers
    • TourlandOperatorWritten January 2026

For our Multiple Days Tour, each person is allowed one piece of checked luggage and one carry-on bag. The weight limits follow the airline's standard baggage policy.

  • B

    Belinda

    Asked on November 21st, 2025

Could you please advise the tour start time. I will be disembarking from a cruise in Vancouver on this date. Will I make the tour start time? Could I be picked up at the cruise terminal or do I need to meet at a certain pickup point?

    Tour Details
    Transport
    • TourlandOperatorWritten November 2025

The meeting time for this tour is 7:00 AM on the day of departure, and guests are required to make their own way to the designated meeting point. Based on our experience, if your cruise docks in Vancouver on May 18, it is likely too tight to catch the tour starting on the same day. Arrival, disembarkation, customs, and travel time to the meeting point may not allow enough time.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten November 2025

Since your cruise docks at 7:00 AM on May 18, it is very unlikely that you would be able to make it to the tour in time, as the meeting time is 7:00 AM and disembarkation usually takes some time. You may want to consider flying directly to Calgary instead and joining one of our Rockies tours from there — this would give you much more flexibility and ensure you don't miss the departure. Another great option is our Rocky Mountaineer train tours. These depart from Vancouver and take you through beautiful scenery all the way to Banff, where you can then join our Rockies itinerary.
