Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your 5-Day Western Canada Rockies Tour. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the wonderful sights and that your group got along so well. We are especially happy to know that Gary provided professional and considerate service; we will certainly share your kind words with him! We also truly appreciate your constructive feedback, as it helps us continuously improve. We understand your disappointment regarding the vehicle size. Because our tours operate as shared group experiences, vehicle sizes are assigned based on the final number of passengers booked for that specific departure. However, we sincerely apologize that the temperature control on the assigned bus struggled during the longer drives, and we will have our fleet maintenance team look into this immediately. Regarding your stay at the Lobstick Lodge in Jasper, we are sorry to hear it was not comfortable for sleeping. Please note that to protect the natural environment, many hotels within the Canadian National Parks do not have air conditioning installed, which can occasionally affect comfort during the warmer summer months. We will, however, keep your feedback in mind for our future hotel arrangements. We also want to shed some light on the meal package and itinerary sequence. The group lunches are offered as an optional add-on strictly for convenience, as local restaurants in towns like Banff and Jasper often have very long wait times during peak season. We do hear your point about the extra stops, and we will review our stop durations to see how we can reduce late driving. Additionally, because this is a shared tour with guests joining from various booking platforms, slight sequence adjustments to the itinerary are sometimes made to accommodate logistical needs, though we always ensure all promised attractions are visited. Thank you again for traveling with Calgary Tours. We are thrilled that you enjoyed the tour overall, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even smoother adventure in the future!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your 5-Day Western Canada Rockies Tour. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful sights and that Gary made such a positive impression as your guide; we will be sure to pass your kind words along to him! We also want to sincerely apologize for the moments of confusion you experienced, and we appreciate the opportunity to explain how our logistics operate. Regarding your first morning, because we pick up guests from various locations, we use a transfer system to bring everyone to a central departure hub. We apologize if the instructions for this process were not communicated clearly enough beforehand, and we will work with our team to ensure guests know exactly what to expect on day one. We completely understand your disappointment when the group dynamics changed halfway through. Our Rockies adventures operate as shared group tours with varying itinerary lengths (such as 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day options) running concurrently. This allows us to offer flexible travel dates, but it does mean that some guests will conclude their journey while others continue on or join. We are sorry this disrupted the connections you were building with your fellow travelers. Finally, we hear your feedback regarding Day 3 being exhausting. The Canadian Rockies cover a massive geographic area, and our itineraries are designed to maximize your time so you don't miss any of the iconic highlights. However, this can sometimes make for a very full and tiring day. We have shared your comments with our itinerary planning team so they can review the pacing. Thank you again for traveling with Calgary Tours. Your insights are incredibly valuable in helping us improve, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back for a smoother experience in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your honest feedback regarding your 5-Day Western Canada Rockies Tour. We are very sorry to hear that your experience with your guide did not meet your expectations, and we deeply appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. First, we sincerely apologize for the language barrier and the difficulty you had understanding the commentary. Because we welcome a diverse group of international travelers, many of our tours are conducted bilingually in English and Mandarin. We require our guides to communicate clearly and effectively in both languages, and we have shared your comments directly with our operations and management team. We will be working closely with this guide to improve their English delivery so that all our guests receive engaging and understandable information. Regarding the lack of commentary while driving, please know that passenger safety is our absolute highest priority. Navigating the winding mountain roads of the Canadian Rockies requires intense concentration. For this reason, our driver-guides are instructed to prioritize safe driving and minimize distractions while the vehicle is in motion, saving most of their commentary for when the vehicle is stopped or just before arriving at attractions. However, we completely understand your frustration if this policy was not communicated politely, or if the on-site explanations were lacking. We also want to deeply apologize for the incident where the van was locked while you were inside. Drivers will sometimes lock the vehicle to secure passengers' personal belongings when stepping away briefly to check a reservation. However, locking guests inside without clear communication or denying them the option to step out is absolutely not the standard of customer care we strive for. We are addressing this specific incident with our team to ensure better communication and judgment are exercised in the future. Finally, we understand that the pacing felt hurried. Covering the vast distances between Banff, Jasper, and Yoho National Parks in just five days requires a rigorous schedule to ensure our guests see as many of the iconic highlights as possible. We regret that this extensive itinerary left you feeling rushed rather than relaxed. We are so glad to hear that the company of your fellow passengers brought some joy to your trip. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, which is essential in helping us improve our services and guide training. We hope that despite these disappointments, you were still able to take home some beautiful memories of the spectacular landscapes.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and for choosing Calgary Tours for your 5-Day Western Canada Rockies adventure! We are thrilled to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your time exploring the great scenery and lovely towns, and that the packed itinerary allowed you to experience so much of what the region has to offer. It is also fantastic to know that you appreciated the flexibility and personalized feel of traveling with a small group. We are very glad to hear that you found your guide, Gary, to be reliable, accommodating, and a lovely person. However, we also genuinely appreciate your candid feedback regarding the language barrier and the depth of historical and cultural information provided. Because our tours are fully bilingual (English and Mandarin) to welcome a diverse array of global travelers, our guides are constantly working to balance real-time translation with detailed commentary. That said, we completely understand your perspective, and we sincerely apologize if this affected your ability to fully learn about the rich history of the places you visited. We will share your constructive comments with Gary and our training team to help us further support our guides in their English delivery and ensure they feel confident sharing in-depth local knowledge with all of our guests. Thank you again for recommending our tour and for traveling with us. We would be absolutely honored to welcome you back for another spectacular Canadian journey in the future!

Unfortunately, we are generally unable to match solo travellers to share a room. We have tried arranging room sharing in the past, but unfortunately it has never been successful.

If you would like to share a room to save on costs, we would recommend finding a travel companion yourself before booking.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

Due to system limitations, only one pick-up and drop-off location can be selected when making the booking. However, if you prefer different pick-up and drop-off locations, you may select any one of the four available locations (either the same location for both or one of your preferred options). For example, you may choose pick-up and drop-off at Hyatt Regency Vancouver Downtown, or select a different drop-off point such as Richmond Yaohan Centre or Burnaby Crystal Mall. After submitting your booking, please send us a message to inform us of your preferred pick-up and drop-off locations, and we will arrange it accordingly.

Is there a shuttle available from the last hotel to the airport?

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

We normally do not know the specific hotel room types in advance, as accommodations are arranged by the hotel.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

For the first night, the tour will stay at Clearwater Best Western Plus Gateway to the Falls or a similar-level hotel. The exact hotel name is usually confirmed 3 days prior to departure, as it depends on the arrangement of the hotel group we work with.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

This tour does not include airport transfer.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

For this 5-day tour, if you join on May 11th and do a post-stay on May 15th, the additional cost is CAD$385 per double room per night.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

Yes, if you book a post-stay with us, we will drop you off at your hotel after the tour.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

For this 5-day tour, the last night is spent at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Vernon / Comfort Suites Kelowna, or a similar hotel. These locations are quite far from Vancouver, and there is no shuttle service from the hotel to Vancouver Airport.
