Johannesburg
You'll arrive at Johannesburg International Airport and catch the free hotel shuttle to your accommodation near the airport. After checking in, you have the rest of the day to rest and let your body adjust to the time change. It's a good idea to take it easy, grab some food, and get comfortable at your hotel before the adventure starts.

Johannesburg to Mpumalanga
Your tour guide meets you in the morning, and then you'll head out to Mpumalanga province, which is about 390 km away. You should arrive at your lodge around midday, giving you time to get settled and freshen up. In the afternoon, you'll head out on your first game drive through the game reserves to start looking for wildlife and getting familiar with the landscape.

Kruger National Park
You'll spend the day game viewing in Kruger National Park on an open off-road vehicle. Bring your camera and keep it handy because you might spot members of the Big Five - lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. The park covers a massive area, so timing and patience matter when you're hoping to see these iconic animals. Your guide will know the best routes and where to look based on recent sightings.

Hazyview - Panorama Route
The Panorama Route takes you through some of South Africa's most visited landscapes. You'll drive past canyons, mountains, waterfalls, and lakes throughout the day. Stops include Three Rondavels, Bourkes Luck Potholes, and God's Window (weather permitting), all offering views into the Blyde River Canyon. This 26-kilometer-long gorge creates dramatic scenery from multiple viewpoints, so you'll want to take your time at each location to soak it in.

Mpumalanga to Johannesburg
You'll get up early for one last game drive to try spotting more African wildlife. Later in the morning, you'll begin the drive back to Johannesburg, which takes about 385 km and wraps up your tour. You'll head home with memories of South Africa's natural landscapes and wildlife.
