Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Amsterdam
You'll arrive in Amsterdam and get picked up at the airport for transfer to the Emerald Cruises Star-Ship. The captain and crew will welcome you aboard once you settle in.
- Day 2
Rhine River Sailing
Head to the Dutch town of Alkmaar to see the historic center with its canals and the cheese market. Later you'll sail on the Rhine River, grab drinks on the Sun Deck, and then come back for the welcome dinner.

Cologne
Take a walking tour through Düsseldorf's Old Town to check out the shops and Rhine riverfront. After that you'll travel to Cologne where you can walk around and see the city's Gothic Cathedral.

- Day 4
Rhine Gorge
The ship cruises to Koblenz, a Roman town where two major rivers meet. You'll do a walking tour of the town and then sail through the UNESCO-listed Rhine Gorge with its castles and medieval villages along the way.

Heidelberg
In Heidelberg you'll take a guided tour that starts at the Renaissance castle ruins. There's a hike from Mount Königstuhl for views of the area, and in the evening you'll attend a private concert in a historical building.

You'll dock in Kehl and then take a coach to Strasbourg, a medieval town with cobbled squares and half-timbered buildings. Spend time wandering around and trying local Alsace food and drinks.

Black Forest

Departure from Basel
After breakfast you'll leave the Star-Ship and head to the airport. You'll take away memories from the Black Forest area and your time on the river.
