  This tour was a lot of fun and very well organized. I was able to explore so many different parts of Japan within 5 days. However, the tour did feel a little rushed and I wish we were able to spend more time in certain places. Also, the itinerary mentioned seeing Shibuya Sscramble Crossing and a sumo stadium, but we only saw those places by driving past them. The description in the itinerary was a little misleading, as I thought we would be attending a sumo wrestling match and would be able to explore Shibuya Crossing on foot. Giving 4 stars because of those reasons. Overall, I would recommend this tour. I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed my time in Japan.Show more

  Horrible experience Europamundo did a horrible job. We had to use public transportation for our paid tours. When I complained the guide told us that we needed 4 people to rent a bus. We were four but they forced us to use public transportation. If I knew that I was going to use public transportation I wouldn’t hired Tour Radar for my vacation. We had to wait for hours to catch the hop on and off. It was very cold in Tokyo. In the morning we used the train and it was packed like crazy! Very claustrophobic. Next time you need to ask your passengers if they don’t have enough people if it’s okey to use public transportation. Also, the tour guides leaves alone in the middle of the city instead of bringing us back to the hotel for our free time. You have to take us back to the hotel. Europamundo is the worst tour company I ever booked in my life. You guys ruined my 60th birthday celebration in Japan.Show more

  Dear Javier, Thank you for sharing your feedback about the tour with us. We regret to hear that some aspects of the tour fell short of your expectations. Your complaint was brought to the attention of our customer service team and was responded to and clarified through an email. Since transparency is of utmost importance to us, we have outlined in our terms and conditions, available on our website, that, In the event of fewer than 5 people enrolled, Europamundo may offer any of the following solutions: a similar tour to the one acquired (from Europamundo or another company); a similar tour providing all or part of the services by public transport; a modification of the booking date for the same tour. Getting to Shinjuku for the first-day visit is always done by subway. This is mentioned in the itinerary, and the tickets are included as the guide purchases them in advance for the entire group. Due to the high congestion in the area and the walking tour, it is challenging to provide the tour by bus. In the notes for the second day of the itinerary, we specified that if there are 5 passengers or fewer, the visit will be conducted in this manner. As the group consisted of 4 passengers, it was appropriate to use the Hop On Hop Off option. Upon arrival in Osaka, passengers check in at the hotel and have free time until the evening when a tour of Dotonbori is scheduled. Dotonbori is a neighborhood filled with lights and nighttime activities. At the conclusion of the tour, the guide usually returns with the passengers either by bus or on foot. As indicated in the information provided, the hotel is less than 500m from the Dotonbori area where the tour concludes. After consulting with the guide, it was mentioned that a small group accompanying these passengers chose to stay in the area. The guide provided them with directions on how to reach the hotel when they considered it appropriate.   The tour with David as our tour guide was very personalised for 2 reasons , 1 David said normally the tour would have up to 40 people the start of the tour in Tokyo their were 5 people , on the Kyoto Osaka part we were joined by by 6 then 4 respectively , David was exceptional over & above , in his time off in Tokyo I had left some Ice packs at home for my insulin we went to 4 places to find some & I also needed to buy a guitar to send to someone for the next part of my Japan solo experience, Francisco very good as well , the main improvement would be that we didn’t get a Sushi or a traditional Japanese selection meal or a small glass of Saki , I know with time constraints I would have liked to have seen more of Osaka , the Hotel accommodation was excellent thanks Roger EvansShow more
