  I'm just curious if you will be offering this tour in the summer of 2027? I'm super interested and would have a group that would consist of around 20 people who would also be going.

    At the moment, our Summer 2027 departures have not yet been released. They are expected to become available in the coming months, and we'll be happy to help you as soon as they are published.
    
    It's also wonderful to hear that you may be traveling with a group of around 20 people! Please keep in mind that groups of more than 15 travelers are subject to special group conditions, and we would be happy to assist you with a customized proposal once your travel plans are confirmed.

    International airfare is not included in the tour price, as our travelers join from many different countries. You will be responsible for booking your own flights to and from Japan. TourRadar offers a convenient flight search tool where you can compare flight options and make your booking if you wish. We recommend waiting until your tour reservation has been confirmed before purchasing your flights.
    
    Your tour includes basic travel assistance insurance provided by Europ Assistance. This coverage becomes effective once Europamundo's land services begin in Japan and remains valid until the end of the tour.
    
    Please note that this basic insurance does not cover: International flights. Incidents that occur before the tour begins or after it ends, unless those services were contracted with Europamundo.
    
    For your peace of mind, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes: Medical expenses and emergency assistance. Trip cancellation or interruption. Repatriation and emergency evacuation (recommended minimum coverage of USD 200,000). Personal liability. Lost or delayed baggage and personal belongings.

    Regarding your flights, you are welcome to book with the airline that best suits your schedule and budget. We also recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unexpected situations before or during your trip.
    
    Regarding the amount of time spent on the coach, it varies each day depending on the itinerary. The tour combines travel with sightseeing and regular stops, so there are opportunities to enjoy the destinations throughout the journey.

    Arrival in Tokyo: The first day of the tour is a free day, with no scheduled activities. Therefore, you may arrive at any time. Please just keep in mind the hotel's standard check-in time, which is generally from 2:00 p.m. Information about the start of your tour will be provided either during the afternoon or through information displayed at the hotel reception.
    
    Departure from Hiroshima: We recommend booking your departure flight after the tour has officially ended, allowing enough time to travel from the hotel to the airport. If you have not yet booked your flight, we recommend choosing an afternoon or evening departure for greater flexibility.
    
    Please note that hotel rooms are generally available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. If you need access to your room earlier or later, you may wish to arrange an additional hotel night.

  Can I use Apple Pay on my phone to pay for most purchases in Japan

    Yes, you can use Apple Pay in many places, especially in cities, transport, and chain stores. But keep cash as a backup for smaller shops or rural areas. Most shops accept credit cards, only small shop do not accept credit cards, so let's make sure you bring some cash.

    What date is the expiry date needed to fill out passport registration

    The 'date of expiry' refers to the date when your passport will no longer be valid. You can find it on the photo page of your passport, usually near the issue date. So, when filling out the pre-registration form on the Japan website, enter the expiration date of your passport exactly as it appears.

    Transfers may be private or shared with other passengers/shuttle, and only one transfer is provided per booking. Keep in mind the transfer is included the day the tour starts or if you have pre nights with us. If you arrive days before, you may need an extra night. Transfers for Japan are shuttle, so we cannot collect you in the hotel if you arrive days before and book nights on your own.

  What would be the maximum size of the group? They would have to get back to Tokyo airport from Hiroshima

    The maximum bus size is only around 45 - 65 travelers. You would be on one bus. There may be other buses, but you would only be a part of the one bus.

    RE the Eternal and Traditional tour: what would be the size of the group? How would my wife be traveling? Bus or train or? She would need to get to Osaka from Tokyo

    Typically, each bus accommodates around 45 - 65 travelers, and you would be part of a group on one bus. While there may be other buses on the same tour route, each group remains on their assigned bus for the duration. Europamundo Vacaciones provides land transport services by coach or private vehicle (van or car) according to the product purchased.
