Itinerary
- Day 1
Venice
You'll land at Venice Marco Polo International Airport and head straight to your ship. After getting settled in your cabin and unpacking your things, spend the evening taking in views of the Venetian Lagoon from the ship. It's a relaxed first night to get your bearings before the real exploring begins.

- Day 2
Venice
Get an early start with a guided tour through Doge's Palace before the crowds show up. Later, walk through an authentic Venetian neighborhood and mix with locals going about their day. By evening, you'll have access to St. Mark's Basilica for a private after-hours lighting ceremony, which gives you the space to see the interior without the typical daytime rush.

Venice - Mazzorbo - Burano
In the morning, pick between heading to Padua or Vicenza, both UNESCO World Heritage cities in the Veneto region. After lunch back on the ship, you'll sail across the lagoon toward Mazzorbo and Burano. Once you get into Burano in the evening, the main tourist crowds have thinned out, so you can wander past the colorful fishermen's cottages at a more relaxed pace.

- Day 4
Burano - Chioggia
Your day focuses on the lagoon islands to the north. An art historian leads you through Torcello's famous basilica first thing. After lunch, you have free time to walk around Mazzorbo, an agricultural island, and then Burano with its distinctive colorful buildings. If glassblowing interests you more, head to Murano instead to watch artisans working with molten glass.

- Day 5
Chioggia
You'll explore the coastal town of Chioggia and check out the main sights, including a stop at the local market where things are lively and authentic. Pick from optional activities like a bragozzo boat ride with tastings, a market tour, a bike ride around town, a wine tour at a noble country villa, or a visit to Palazzo Goldoni.

Chioggia - Venice
Join a sailing excursion to the Po Delta where the Po River meets the Adriatic Sea, or choose to visit Castello del Catajo instead. You'll sail back toward Venice during lunch, so there's time to relax on deck and watch the landscape change as you approach the lagoon.

Venice
A water taxi takes you right to the iconic Rialto Bridge, gliding past narrow side canals and the Canal Grande. This historic stone arch at the narrowest point of the Canal Grande is lined with shops and restaurants. You can pick from guided walks, visits to gondola artisans, mask ateliers, or try a rowing experience.

Venice - Rome
Leave the ship this morning and take a train to Rome. Check into the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome or a similar hotel. If you're interested, join your Local Host for an orientation walk through the neighborhood. There's also an optional culinary walking tour available if you want to dive into Roman food culture (additional cost).

- Day 9
Rome
A panoramic tour takes you through Rome's major historical landmarks, moving from the Roman Empire era through the Renaissance. You'll see the 18th-century Trevi Fountain, the 2nd-century Pantheon, and the Roman Forum with its 8th-century BCE roots. The Colosseum tour is available as an optional add-on if you want more time there.

Rome

Rome
Pack up your belongings and check out of your Rome hotel this morning. If you've arranged a departure transfer, you'll be picked up and driven to the airport for your trip home. Otherwise, make your own way based on your flight time.
