- Day 1
Las Vegas to Zion National Park
You'll get picked up from the Palms Casino at 7:00 am and head out toward Zion National Park. The drive gives you time to settle in before hitting the trails. Once you arrive, you can explore the park on your own pace. The Emerald Pools are a solid choice if you want something moderately challenging, or the Zion Narrows offer a different experience if you're up for wading through water. Zion National Park to Bryce Canyon National Park

The Hoodoos are the main draw here, those tall sandstone formations that look like natural sculptures. You can walk along the rim to get a good view or actually hike down into the canyon for a closer look at them. Later in the afternoon you'll return to camp, and that's when the outdoor hot tub comes in handy before everyone gathers for a campfire.

You'll hike to spots where the Green and Colorado Rivers meet, learn about the history of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid hiding out in these canyons, and spend time in Moab. If you get to Arches, Delicate Arch is the most iconic hike, and the park has over 2,000 natural stone arches scattered throughout. You'll get to pick which trails appeal to you most.

After breakfast, you'll head south toward Monument Valley. A local Navajo guide will lead you on a 4x4 Jeep tour through the landscape, which is the same terrain you've probably seen in classic Western films. The valley belongs to the Navajo Nation, and having a guide from the area adds real perspective to what you're seeing. You'll camp right at the rim, which means you'll wake up to sunrise over the monuments and fall asleep under a sky full of stars.
